5k Team Name

A few friends and I are going to be doing our 1st 5k in a few weeks. We want to create a team but are having a hard time coming up with a name. The race we will be doing will be for breast cancer but we would rather keep the name a little more generic so that we can use it with future races if we choose to.

Some examples of names I thought were cute/funny...Found these on the internet, I didn't come up with them....

Scrambled Legs
Buns on the Run

Id like to just keep it fun and entertaining but nothing dirty/sexual since its non cam related. Any help is greatly appreciated!

LOL I seem to remember Camstory had some excellent names in another thread for teams...but yeah they were kinda cam-related.

2 Shoes 1 Run? I guess that's kinda sexual related but more comedy

Below are a bunch of names, 90% of which were for my own amusement. After reading your post I found myself outside having a few beers with a buddy. He drops by once or twice a month with a 6pk and journals out the stuff that's been bugging him at home in the previous two or three weeks. He doesn't have a traditional diary or journal and expects me to be only a blank page for him to spew his thoughts at. Staying engaged enough to be a blank page requires somewhat lees than all my concentration, so I took that time to ponder some cleaver names for you. I'm sure there are near a half dozen good ones I thought up that fail me now. I will sleep on it, and post what comes to me in the morning.

I sure can't compete with camstory, but here are a few off the top of my head:


The 500 G's-----5K = 500,000 cm
PI's in the sky-----5K=3.10 miles/PI=3.14 (close enough for govt work, lol) Then the double meaning of "pie in the sky", future reward or unattainable goal
The Heavy Breathers-----This would suit me better, as I got short of breath just thinking of running a 5K, lol
