I have one or two awesome dudes who do this. They hang out in my room, and they do tip nicely but not extravagantly. They are a great part of the chat very funny, and very supportive. I don't mind it at all knowing you're going to leave me as soon as their favorite girl comes online. Especially when I know their favorite girl is one of my favorite people.A question for the models here. If you have a guy who comes into your room regularly and talks, contributes, etc, but you know if there are certain other models online he will be there instead of in your room, how do you feel about that?
I also get a little butt hurt if they go on and on about how awesome she is.. and never compliment me EVER or compare us. This should be obvious that this is rude though.
I just wanted to clarify something, cause Lolli's wording is funny. It LOOKS like she's saying "I get hurt when they never compliment me or if they never compare us..." but that's not it. She's saying DON'T compare us to other girls. Comparing girls (even if you're saying that I'm better/hotter/funnier/whatever) is STILL bad. Just say "You're awesome/hot/funny/whatever" without bringing another girl down to do it.
The only time I do kinda dislike it is when a member "pops in" on his way to see the other girl, like:
I definitely don't have a problem with this at all!
The only time I do kinda dislike it is when a member "pops in" on his way to see the other girl, like:
"Hi Caireen, can't stay, just saying hello!"
To me, there is no point to this. They aren't sticking around to contribute anything (be it tips or conversation) to my room, and it just seems like they are just looking for a quick bit of attention from me before going to see their favourite girl. This might not be at ALL their intention, but it comes across this way to me. If they accompanied the "quick hello" with a 5 or 10 token tip it would be different, but it's totally unnecessary for someone to draw attention to the fact that they are online but not hanging out with me. Unless they are going to hang out with me for a while or tip something, there is no need for this hi/bye thing.
Editing to add: basically, it's totally okay to be logged in and not say hi to every camgirl you know.
^THIS^ SO MUCH.
Of course we're not always going to be everyone's favorite. And that's ok. We don't want to make you feel guilty for spending time with other girls! But if you only have 5 minutes to spare (after your other girl leaves or before she logs on), please don't even say hi in chat. UNLESS you're tipping (hell, even a 1-token tip is great!), cause drive-by tips are always sweet.
I am merely echoing what Caireen said because it is so, so important that members realize this: Saying hi when you can only stay for a few minutes because you're obviously using your time to see another girl might seem like you're saying "Hey you! I like you! You're awesome!" but it's actually a bit of a hurtful gesture if you do it more than once. So either only say hi/chat when you've got more than a few minutes or pair that "Hello, goodbye" with a tip. That way you're not accidentally hurting a girl's feelings.
