Usually somewhere between flippant and glib.
With all the outdoor wind issues adversely effecting downhill skiers, ski jumpers, half-pipe snowboarders... I thought it would be pretty cool if they had optional limited wingsuit type modifications available. Those skeleton racers are a bunch of wussies if they don't push for a normal skeleton race, then launch off a steep mountainside, ditching their sleds, then using their windsuit to navigate a slalom race cut through the treelines and eventually landing on the x-spot using their parachutes.

Even though the Summer Olympics is what I'm more interested in...I was really looking forward to tuning in to the Olympics opening ceremony. There is just something about watching the Parade of Nations, and seeing U.S.A. come out that warms my heart. Lol. Cheesy, I know.

All I know is that one night I turn on the T.V., looking forward to the opening ceremony, and here they are already on the skating segment. I was like WTF...I missed the opening ceremony??? I haven't even been able to find a full video of the opening ceremony online, which was surprising.

Watching women's hockey right now, the U.S. vs Canada. Canada leads 1-0, 2nd period via a power play. In short, the Canadians cheat which is why Trump needs to build the wall.

Stinkin' cheatin' Canadians...

I wanted to see it.

The Olympics committee are the most bizarre users of the DMCA. There is no commercial value on their part: that's for their broadcast partners to suffer from immediate piracy. There is nothing but tradition to be learned from letting videos be viewed after the commercial run.

I haven't actively looked this time, last summer Olympics I really wanted to watch cycling - not only immediately gone, but they removed old footage that had been put up in years since.

It's not like anyone's making money off this. We hear over and over how this athlete was only six months old the last time their country got a medal - and this athlete, who can watch all of Duck Tales, cannot watch the 1956, 68, 80 or 2012 performance she's trying to medal in. That's backward somehow.

It's just crazy to me that there's no shortage of videos of Fergie butchering The Star Spangled Banner, yet I can't find a video (where the freakin' audio is working, or it's not just some lame "recap" video) of my country's Olympic athletes making their grand entrance during the opening ceremony. Oh well.

Now that it's over...don't nobody tell me who won for the next six months. This is the slowest of all my DVR scrapes.

J/K, the Olympics is the strangest of video events.
I can hate on the Olympic committee.... and like the games.

Well done South Korea, thanks for being a spectacular host.
