XBIZ announced a camming track for XBIZ Berlin. That's not amazingly relevant. There's been camming at all these events since camming really became a thing. What I found interesting and amusing is the language used in their press release:

The inaugural XBIZ Berlin conference will feature a close-up look at adult’s most robust market segment: live cams. The dedicated track is comprised of four sessions, covering promotion of cam networks, working with white labels, and the latest trends and advances in cam studios and networks.

Me, myself personally, found that language interesting and worthy of a share. It's no secret that camming is a major segment of the adult vertical, but to call it the most robust is basically a statement that camming is bigger than tube sites, which is an accomplishment. XBIZ is kind of a big deal, too. So their statement carries some weight.

Thoughts?

I think they're talking about the reliability of the return on investment in the production of adult entertainment. Tube sites are parasites that infest the industry. Mindgeek might own both sites that produce content and facilitate piracy, while coercing honest porn producers into giving them money to promote their sites, but that's more like having fingers in two pies at once.

That could be. Whatever the word "robust" translates to, it's still a pretty broad statement. If they're talking ROI, I'll be the first to agree with them 100%. I've dabbled with adult affiliate promoting paysites and the conversion rates are complete garbage.
