Say, for instance, a model has something medical come up that puts them off for 2 months or so. Can you come back from that successfully? I'm aware you only get featured as "new" the first week or so but if something like that happened, can you recover? I've only registered with 2 sites so far, partially because I am afraid of that possibility and that I might need to basically start over and need that featured period to do it in. Other part being my current set up in the middle of nowhere sucks with a max up and down of about 1.5 Mbps and no other real options here unless I get something 4G LTE enabled. I was about to do exactly that but I've been nervous since it takes a 2 year contract so I am kind of afraid to commit to it in case something happened like that.

Yes, you can come back from it. I couldn't work for almost 6 months last year because of a medical issue, but I made just as much soon after I started again without a *new* tag.

The new tag is helpful, but it isn't magical. You can still be successful if you put enough time into it. You can do other camming-related things while you're on medical leave (but do take the time to heal!). You can do research, upgrade your bios, work on graphics and promotional materials, etc. If you film to footage ahead of your medical procedure, you can also make clips and focus on building that side of your cam life.

I got really sick over the summer and just recently came back to camming. It has been difficult so far, but not impossible. My health still isn't 100% so sometimes I just can't cam because of it, which obviously makes things hard because consistency is key. Not having the "new model" tag makes things harder but like it was said above it isn't impossible! Just make sure you are camming consistently and eventually you'll get back to normal. Good luck and good health to you!
