hi all I have been on MFC for about a month. took me abit to get use to it because in the past I have worked for cam sites where there nothing like MFC. But so far I am liking it. My first night on a model by the name of Sensi_Minna asked for my skype name, at the time I did not have one so I just let her know. well tonight she comes back asking for my skype name. I asked why no reply back so far. So my question is why would a model want to know my skype name?

BTW she just replied back saying she gave my name to admin and he said i was pretty and he wants my skype and some how i just got skype add for someone named adminLeo

Watch yourself girl. I've heard there are a lot of people pretending to be Admins lately. If an admin wanted to talk to you, they would contact you directly. Search around on here; there are a few forums talking about fake admins. I'm pretty sure that there is a camgirl wiki about it too. Just be safe.

MFC will never contact you through Skype. Ever. Ever ever. It's a scam trying to get new models to give free Skype shows. Leo isn't going to go into model's rooms and say, "oh you're pretty, we should Skype."

If you're the slightest bit suspicious about anything, use your best judgment and err on the side of caution.

adminLeo is a known scammer on skype. Think about it, why would someone who owns and runs a camsite and has access to feeds of girls all day pick someone out to skype with them? Also, you can search for people's skype names, and if it's close to your cam name it's not hard to figure out.

Not every model is as good-natured as the girls on ACF, and many girls might help out a member if they're so inclined. Honestly, this is one of those times you should just let it go, and be grateful you didn't get scammed out of giving a free show. Just move forward with a bit more wisdom and skepticism.

Just because a guy uses pink font doesn't mean most girls can't tell it's a guy. It's hard to say what exactly those dudes say that makes our little "liar!" alarms go off, but I'd say most seasoned models won't automatically believe a member's a girl just because they insist they are. It's like our vagina senses start tingling. Even if the "girls" in my room really are girls, they still won't get shit for free just because they supposedly have the same parts as me. I have no solidarity with a stranger, regardless of gender.

Hence why those posers tend to prey on new girls. Which is exactly why new models need to learn to always trust their gut and act with a certain degree of skepticism. Think critically so you can act wisely.

Which is precisely why I required additional model verification to "new MFC models" when they try to get approved for model status here. I get quite a few 1000 cs accounts requesting status, then when asked for additional verification, I never hear from them again.

Maybe less skeptical, but she should still be wary of the motives behind anyone "helping" her, model or not. The models I know that give genuine advice to new girls tend to do so in a tip note. And they're usually common sense things, like "rate and admire doesn't do shit," and "you should charge for flash requests." There's no reason why a legitimate model would promise you big bucks for doing what she says for free. It just doesn't work like that.

It has been exploited quite a bit. But making a premium account and pretending to be a former model can be more convincing than a model account. You check her CS and oh, look, is 1k and then a week later it's still exactly 1k. For the most part it's damn near impossible for anyone that has ever turned their cam on to maintain exactly 1000, it's bound to vary even by ".1".

OK, Thanks. As I said, over the years I've never seen a suspicious model account in a room but plenty of odd member accounts.

Of course, there are some legitimate model accounts with a constant 1000 camscore where they are only registered in order to cam with another model.

Hope you sent it on to MFC support? it may even be a hacked model account

It looks like she hasn't turned on her cam since the beginning of January. MFC shows that she last logged into her account today. That theory about her account being compromised makes a lot of sense.
