Because it doesn't have a lot of real competition. If MFC made a private based site that treated models as well they are treated on MFC, Streamate would be obliterated. However, the closest thing to Streamate around is probably Livejasmin. That's not on par.

Those are excellent.

On the model end, we're protected from chargebacks - I've never heard of a model receiving one - and if someone rates us unfairly on a private (for example, taking a domme private and asking her to fuck her pussy, then rating her one star when she says she doesn't do that), we can get the rating removed so it doesn't impact our placement.

Jasmine's biggest issue from a US standpoint is they use a payment provider in Portugal which flags US cards. The other issue is because the credits (their version of tokens) are base against Euro fluctuate due to the conversion to US members. You could be paying $100 and get 97 credits one day and then a few hour later get only 90 credits.

Other smaller annoyances I think they did fix. Models could run multiple accounts on their site at the same time. So you'd go pvt on one account and the model would forget to close the other and people are getting free shows. Because Jasmine is probably the most studio heavy site there you have a lot of models that don't get basic training on how the systems work. So they don't see chats or don't see pvt requests or thanking the wrong person for tips. I don't want to get started with translators trying to run cons on there.

Barring those complaints Jasmine has a very advanced easy to use site.

Did you read this? I don't see how this is MORE restrictive than other pvt based sites.

They add suggestions about how to handle certain life situations online so NOT to lose members.

The only thing they do add is clearly explain how their penalty system works.

If your taking about the original link you posted they suggest you do not do those things or risk losing members but don't say its a rule that has a site penalty.

We're commenting from separate sides of the platform. I'm sure plenty of users like livejasmin because it's cheap as hell, but models who have other options wouldn't choose them. It's a place people start before they realize they can do better. None of the sites you've listed are competition from the model side.

With this line below it

Then they explain how to deal with the situation.

It's sort of a rule that would be enforced if the model isn't using common sense.

They annexed/ bought out a heap of other sites many years ago when they became too weak to survive. This meant less spending on promotion as the old sites continued to bring traffic from previous advertising. It was a brilliant move on their part.

They also continued on the porn route in terms of promotion letting model's content on 3rd party sites draw in traffic. They are collecting most of the newbie members to the cam world with this strategy, so increases their popularity.
