Actually many girls fonoffer Skype's to select guests or they have to be scheduled. I know that I personally do not mind doing Skype's. But I do not want to leave my room while I am broadcasting. It isn't fair to many others who know that's my usual time.

On that note clio sites and fund sites like extra lunch money, my gurlfund, many vids etc offer a chance to purchase Skype in the list of a models services.

@Guy It's an interesting article, but I was able to still very easily find the IP's for a couple of folks on my skype list. I'm not going to go into how to find the IP's as I feel some folks with bad intentions don't need to know that, but either way it's better to be safe than sorry.

I don't trust Skype's security, no matter what they say. I keep getting messages from a spammer that I've blocked about 30 times.

Lots of reasons to avoid Skype.
1. You can see and hear the other person.
2. SUPER easy to take stills or record. (I took a few stills of a dude I used to accept on Skype because he had a wall of books behind him, and I wanted to see if I could zoom in on the titles. I'm a book creeper I guess.)
3. Lots of dudes wanting Skype want a cheaper price than on site privates even though it is way more personal.
4. Basics, guests or Twitter followers asking for Skype could be underage.
5. Or.... they want to pay with Paypal (not SW friendly and easy to charge back) or giftcards (won't help your on-site placement).
6. Many girls suck at cutting dudes off when the time is up. Not me, I always waved and smiled and closed out then messaged them a thanks. But, I've heard it often that girls have allowed time to run over.

I personally would only Skype with someone, at this point in my camming, that was an ongoing slave paying large amounts of money OR with someone that I enjoy enough that the money is just a bonus.

I think people will scam in whichever ways they can find to! I've personally not taken off site payments for Skype. So, I don't have experience with different payment methods. I do know that most cam sites ban members who reverse charges on any card. That would be another plus for sticking with on site payment.

Like Jicky said - guys want to pay with PayPal a lot of the time - and it's not sex worker friendly - most guys want a discount that's why they ask for Skye and this is why my rates are $8 a minute. Listening and seeing someone is also another reason girls don't to do them. Most cam sites let us disable sound so we don't have to hear the guy. I also only Skype with sub's who have been serving me for some time or regulars who have been regulars for a long time and that's it.

Precisely why I refuse to show my books on cam anymore.

I would love to do skype am asked often about it and counting all the tokens I could have made but...I always say no and never did skype and probably never will...
I have many reservations.Recently a member who had 2000 tokens visible in account asked me to skype. (I said no- suggested private instead right on mfc)
It feels weird when a member who has like 2000 tokens in the acount visible asks me for skype. Less than 2000 tokens is enough for a good private so am just even suspicious...I feel weird getting off mfc - I really feel safe on mfc- it is a great site. I don't feel I know enough about things and I just get suspicious...

MFC offers so many options for fun time.

I did both group and private and loved both - gave it a 100% and truly had fun and noticed members loved it cause one even came back next day wanted to buy a video.
Because it was on mfc a place I trust I was totally relaxed and because of that it was a great group show.

Off MFC I would feel weird...I mean the person could be anyone and why do they even want skype let me ask again?

I have a feeling members who ask for skype can be tricky....
I also see a lot of guys who are basics and guests asking for skype usually in new model rooms. I think maybe they were blocked from mfc or are simply underage?????something fishy going on...I saw a guy asing a new model for skype offerring $500 "money wire transfer"..you get the idea...LMAO!!!!these people can be tricky and new models are so vulnerable.

I don't think I want to get mixed up in anything weird like that and I feel safe on mfc so is why I avoid skype after noticing what types usually ask for it.

I they're willing to pay on MFC in tokens but want the show on Skype, it's usually because Skype has a much higher quality picture than MFC.
If they want to pay with some other method, it's either because they're scamming, or they think they'll get more bang for their buck since MFC doesn't take its cut.

I once ran a test with a model using MFC, skype, google and I think Yahoo chat for a video show only for a couple of minutes and the video looked each time different, personally I prefer Skype.....

Regarding costs : some models offer discounts for Skype shows but on the other hand there is a risk for me as a customer, that if the show is not meeting my expectations on MFC I can just stop and leave, on Skype I pay for the whole show in advance and if the show is lousy I lost all my money......

A lot of guys who ask for Skype try to scam and pay with Paypal so that they can get their money back after the show. This puts you in danger of losing your Paypal account too since Paypal is not adult industry friendly. If they're not scammers, some guys who want Skype try to bargain for a cheaper price or try to make you stay longer than the agreed upon time, without paying extra. They'll try to guilt trip you into saying longer, i.e. "I didn't get to cum yet!" Not worth the hassle a lot of the time.

I don't like one-on-one time anymore. It feels too personal and intimate for me as a married woman. I also prefer to be in free chat on MFC since a big perk of this job for me is the social aspect in a group setting. Laughing and being silly or sexy with a room full of fun people is more my style.
