I used to be obsessed with figuring out how to apply fake eyelashes.
I'd go through sets of them & was convinced I'd never be able to put them on.
I've finally mastered them - the trick (for me) is a stiff (not a flimsy) band & pinching them on the lash with blunted tweezers.
Now,I'm obsessed with learning how to contour!I've got brushes, blusher, highlighter:)
Here is an example of good contouring:

First time I did it I looked like a clown. :?
What about you?

Contouring is one of those things I don't get. Like wouldn't it look different from different angles & lighting? I think it's really cool how people can transform their look just with makeup though! I'm forever impressed by the girls in my classes who rock full hair/makeup every day while it's just a miracle if I make it to class at all

I'm still interested in perfecting my winged eyeliner. I can do it on other people but even with YouTube tutorials I struggle with mine. I can get one side but never both at once! I think I need to get a pro to show me in person on my eyes, maybe I have a weird eye shape.

Contouring has never looked good on my pale skin haha so I've learned that I can put some highlighter on my cheekbones, then blush underneath, where you would normally put the darker colors, and bland like crazy. It seems to give my face more definition and since I have more pinkish skin it looks better on my super pale face haha.

I contour with a light brown ash-toned eyeshadow and it works great on pale skin. Too many people try to do it with bronzer or a shade that doesnt match their undertone, and then it ends up looking bad. Now I just need to master blending it

This may help with the contouring basics, modifying it for different lighting effects can then be taken from there.

For myself have just bought a new beard trimmer, am playing around with different lengths of growth right now.
