Filmora is pretty easy, but I've been using Premiere Pro for so long switching to something else would be annoying.
oof, I should have mentioned I have a budget of a whopping $1/mo. (yes I'm serious, yes I know its not super incredibly realistic but these are my shitty ass circumstances )

I need an editing software that is well-uxed and the easiest at deleting parts of a video easily, with precision, and doesn't require me to keep trying to tap the video at the right time like it's a goddamn game. Please save me from the hell of that back and forth headache.

I also have a crappy broken laptop on its last hind legs, not a lot of storage or power in this bad boy

I don’t know of anything that’s gonna give you that at $1 a month. Filmora is pet cheap and comes out to $3 a month

have you considered using your phone? There are a lot of good editing apps. I use inshot a lot despite using premiere pro. That would solve your laptop issue. It’s still gonna run you about $3 a month though

Davinci Resolve 18 is an app and it's free. There's lots of youtube videos that show you how to use it. It's very user friendly.....it has A LOT of features but the basic ones are super easy to do.

I’ve always used Filmora and I love it. It’s super user friendly and there’s really no learning curve with it unless you’re doing more in-depth special effects type editing (and even then, it’s a lot easier than adobe programs imo). I also used it on my old laptop that wasn’t very powerful and was pretty slow. Never really had issues editing, it would just take forever to convert.

But yeah, it’s $40 yearly for it. I personally think it’s worth every cent and would definitely recommend it.

This was going to be my suggestion, too. Been using it for years for free.
