I logged on for the first time last night after two weeks of waiting for my ankle to heal and doing research. I thought I had my pm's turned off, but apparently not cause I had 2 dozen tabs plus "436 remaining" . I found out how to mute guests, thank god. It didn't broadcast through my logitech camera, it went through my laptops cam, and when I'd try to change it, it would freeze!!! So my sound was wonky, the camera sucked, and one of my main tippers kept telling me to be funny rather than sexy and would get upset if I did anything remotely sexy. The troll of the evening pissed off some guys and while I could ignore the "How much coke did you snort?" the guys couldn't.

I tried to play a game, I said tip 15 tokens, pick a question topic, get it right, and you pick a numbered envelope 1-15 and it will contain a command for me to do. I didn't think of it as hard but no one was biting...

Holy fuck overwhelmed.

Haha I haven't banned anyone, and I still tried to be sexy, but I was so giggly/flirty so I just kept that up and they kept tipping. It wasn't horrible. The dude said something earlier about being "hard" so maybe it was just a "HEY! I can't cum again that quickly, stop doing that, I'm gonna end up chaffing!"

I really do feel like I could have been a bigger help , I do feel bad. But unless I was there with you I suck at explaining the site . I really did take a while to get use to the cam life . But I have faith in you ! Oh and your cam may be fixable if you messed with the options before broadcasting. I really wish I actually could have watched .

You can use the "cam "preview"options to make sure all your camera setting and mic setting are correct before you go online.

I'm totally doing that next time (probably today)! I had no clue, I just kinda dived in and it totally killed me. I was previously scared to hit "Broadcast" in fear of starting something when not ready- And I didn't want my first week to suck balls but I've already lost part of my cam score. I'm sure If I stop caring about that I'll boost it back up, but holy hell am I overwhelmed by it all!!!!

It must be a fast learning curve when you start out? As someone who trains people in a fast paced role, usually to their breaking point, all you can do is warn them it will happen, and that when it does we will have their back. You seem like the kind of person who enjoys pushing their limits, so I think you will adjust to the challenges pretty quickly.

Work hard, get the right support, and don't prejudge your ability too early. You have many mistakes still to make before they can be turned into future successes. This wont end either, as expectations rise (your own and your members) your talent must do also, for most types of work about every 6 months you will be expected to do better in some way. Sometimes they will be quality improvements, sometimes productivity increases, and in your case all self driven (you get to choose).

On physical conditioning, sore is okay, injured not good... back injuries are commonplace injuries for models, so take the proper precautions and care with certain activities on cam. [I think it is stability muscle issues that cause the most trouble from holding certain positions for too long.]

i have had lots of camera issues before, my one year camming as a cam model on MFC is coming up, i just took a huge break from it all, i had a lot of personal problems going on and i just couldn't deal with trying to make people happy and trying to make myself happy. so i gave myself a huge break and now that i am feeling somewhat like myself again i am going to give this a try again. it takes time to get use too on that site. i remember when i first started i didn't know what a ninja tip was until someone told me. i had a helper who was a regular of the site help me and get successful, on my part. my hardest part is getting people to recognize me and want to stay in my room and etc. i don't know all i know is i hope you had a good first couple of weeks camming even though you had camera issues and sound issues. it least your equipment issues didn't ruin your night, it least you turned it around afterwards and made it funny and just being you.

I dropped by your room (as a guest) last night for a few minutes (after having read this thread yesterday). My sound was off, but it looked like you were typing instead of talking. (If that's not the case, just ignore everything that follows. ) Typing is generally not recommended if you speak English well (or whatever language your room uses). Sometimes it's necessary as a temporary measure to avoid disturbing roommates/housemates when they're sleeping, etc., but only temporarily.

I really like your attitude as it comes across in writing: very direct and funny at times. I actually LOLed the first time I read the title of the thread, because it was so evocative and conversational. If you come across verbally the way you do in writing, it might energize your room, generate conversation, etc.
