Hi guys, I hope I'm putting this in the right place. I recently became a model on Chaturbate. Despite only doing six broadcasts over the span of one week, I quickly became one of the most viewed cams and raked in a LOT of money in a very short amount of time. I'm including these details because they may have something to do with what happened. I took every precaution when I broadcasted -- using DMCA, playing music in the background, hanging up a sign with my username on it, etc. Despite this, someone recorded ALL of my shows (as they were happening) and posted them on [site name banned*5].org the very night they were recorded. The man who did it, camgirllover, is apparently notorious for doing this. What's odd is that my friend Jane, who only did one broadcast ever, was also on this site. So it seems that a bot is recording EVERY show that goes live on Chaturbate and is then automatically reposting them on to this website (I know it's automatic because the time stamp under his uploaded videos match up with the day and time that I did the respective broadcast.) Fortunately Chaturbate was extremely helpful and has filed a takedown on my behalf. I'm not sure how on earth this page is still up and running since it is files and files of 100% illegally obtained content from Chaturbate and who knows where else. Maybe everyone already knows about this, but I just wanted to be sure. One thing is certain, my cam career just came to an unfortunate and abrupt end. Stay safe girls.

The fact you put your username visible in the chat room with you will more than likely direct people to your page, keep doing this. You could always fight to have the videos brought down, or you can as Excella said, Just kind of roll with it. If you're not comfortable being recognised then camming may not be right for you but that's something you have to determine on your own.

This, too. I've gotten videos taken down, it's doable. There's info on this site available about take down requests. I'd suggest getting model verification and doing research into it.

yes you MIGHT get some removed but if being recorded and posted on other sites is totally unacceptable to you or could negatively impact your life in a way you are unwilling to take on DO NOT CAM ANOTHER DAY.
Yes you may be able to get some taken down, but you'll never be able to get them all or keep up. Ever.
This is not the only person who caps and posts either. You don't have to thinks it's OK to record illegally but you kind of have to be ok with it happening anyway, because it will no matter what.

Yah that group/guy has like 30+ sites. All pimping their recordings. Some websites host the images, others route the links to the videos. Seems like they're recording all the sites.

If you do watermark, use Many cam to insert your water mark.

Don't trying to put your watermark into the video by CSS. I see so many models doing that. It doesn't do a thing. It won't show up in the recordings.

No, but when people find the posted video, they know who the model is and where to find her, so they can then potentially visit the model's cam room to see more, and that means that there's a chance they can be converted into a customer.

Yeah it's really annoying to be balls deep into a porn session. Find a girl who seems interesting. Stop for ten or 15 minutes to see if the comments or any suggested videos have anything. Then realize that their is no easy way to find who this girl is.

I've bought a lot of stuff through Manyvids and Clip4sale. It definitely helps for me at least if I have seen the model before. Lots of ways for that to happen. One of them being through tube sites.
If your giving out free samples their is a chance people might take it and leave. However, many people like me like having higher quality material.

I understand that many camgirls probably don't want to be identified through where their are no filters for things like location. But the more popular you are the harder it is to fight.

It's how I was converted into a porn payer. Watermarks are the best and easiest response. Try to turn the bs theft into advertising at least.
