any tips or tricks or general advice i should keep in mind? :] i won't be starting for a couple months yet, but really getting excited to start :]

Depending on the site you select, I recommend that you browse the site and observe some of the current models on that site, to include the top rated models, mid rated models and lower rated models and see what does and doesn't work and how the rooms respond to the activities going on there. Check in the other forums for any suggestions and information on which camera's work best and ask any model for help as they are very friendly and helpful to newcomers. Don't be discouraged by some of the idiots you may have to deal with while first starting out and don't always listen to the people in your room for advice as some of them will try and coerce you to do things for free that you "should" be getting "paid "for. Best of luck in your endeavors and welcome to the forums.

When I was new, and even now "former models" are always trying to see me butt hole because "that's what they did and they made a lot". Lol, kk wanna see butt hole bb, look in mirror bend over. Just kidding, I always say "Model or not, you are free to enter a private show if you would like to control the show."

yay, replies! :]

thanks so much for the tips, i'll definitely keep those in mind. i've had my eyes on MFC for a couple months now, just waiting to feel more comfortable in my body before i give it a shot. :]

Tip: consistency with your cam schedule and signing on

from everything I've seen and read, it matters tons in gaining a following/fans

If you have several months before you start, then spend time researching! Watch cams. LOTS of cams. Watch not JUST the top 20 but also the page 4 girls and try to figure out what it is they are doing wrong.

Don't 'copy' any one girl but use the same tools they make use of. You'll notice that 99% of successful cam models are authentic and being themselves.

Remember you're not just selling 'pussy tits and ass' but also good company. You're an entertainer.

When you start on MFC don't do it half assed. If you don't go into it planning and expecting to be successful (when I started I had no other option. My finances REQUIRED me to double my income in 2 weeks or I was screwed. I think this helped my motivation LOL!)

If you go on half assed and dip a 'toe' in the water, and don't stick with it, chances are your cam score will drop below 1000 and once its low its hard to get it back up.

As for being comfortable in your body - I'm not sure what your body type is but make sure you look for girls with all body types to help encourage you. There is a HUGE range on MFC if you watch enough cams. If you're bigger check out the way the great BBW models market themselves. If you think you're too skinny, check out the those girls. If you're average and think 'average' is not good enough to be a cam model, check out girls like um.. well me. LOL.

Be yourself. Be interactive. Be energetic. Be positive. and BE confident!

Hope you have lots of fun camming!

I am a BBW model and i think I get discouraged because i havent found the good time for me to be on. It is about patience. This is not something that just happens if u have self hang ups. I was having hang ups about my body and size but i do a few guys that love it and they love my company. I am funny and they want that i guess. I spent almost 2 years watching and going from site to site and I must admit some sites are more XXX then others.

I love MFC case the people I have met and I do talk to alot are great. Models and Members.

Hope this helps a little.

Haha, well, my current problem is that I'm just about 9 months pregnant, and while I'm sure there's a market for it possibly, I'd rather be 100% comfortable with me before I try it. (That and the thought of my water breaking on cam is just deadly terrifying).

But thanks for all your great advice! I'll keep all of it in mind. :]

I have a feeling that you would not be the first girl to have her water break on mfc, just sayin but good luck and there IS a pregger's fetish at mfc. Be careful afterwards tho, apparently there is something against the life giving milk that you may start leaking, you can do just about anything on cam but squirt milk from your breasts, go figure.

|Also if you haven't already get a twitter account to announce when you're on and stuff. :p
Making one before you become a model is helpful too. I think I had one for a couple weeks before I even appeared on cam. Start following/interacting with folks who follow other adult related twitter accounts and get a feel for the lingo.
