I'm in the UK and I've just started working for sunsetmodels UK but its actually MCF and I've now noticed I'm just goin through a third party I hear streamate is much better to cam so I was wanting to try there but how do I go straight through to become a model without ending up going through another site ?? Thanks for any info is appreciated - aria xx

Make sure you go directly to the site you want to sign up for, find the "become a model" button, and sign up there.

sigh up directly to streamate here: streamatemodels.com

My current research shows that Streamate is the 2nd strictest camsite out there.

For good reason; it's a private-based site. Anything that deters from encouraging private shows is counterproductive to the site's income. It discourages freeloaders as they don't get to see as much as they would on MFC or CB.

I understand why no full nudity in public chat, but I think some of their other rules are outright totalitarian.

That seems a bit dramatic. Which rules? The only one I can think of is the no mentioning of Twitter one, which I agree is excessive, though I can see their misguided reasoning.

The fact that they don't allow the mentioning of ANY other websites.
Not being able to talk about something funny that was posted on reddit or an article on TMZ.com is incredibly absurd IMO.

What? I mention stuff about Reddit all the time. It's if you're mentioning YOU on other websites, like MFC.

It's honestly not a huge deal to me nor does it make me feel restricted in my work. I've talked about reddit before and nothing happened to me. I think that rule is more for mentioning other competeing camsites (which goes for any camsite). On a private based site, conversations about other sites like reddit or TMZ isn't any importance.

It's simply so you don't mention a site that say has a means of messaging and use it to tell members where else they can spend their money on you. For instance, I could easily say my Imgur account username, and have a member message my account there to tell them "Hey I know you like Streamate and all, but I get a higher cut on SkyPrivate. If you sign up there, we could easily do shows on Skype instead!"

It makes sense, but is super annoying, especially since they don't have a means of easily telling everyone what's up if say you can't make it on that day or have to change your schedule etc. Normally I change my description on my profile to whatever I have to tell members there, but I figure they likely don't read it *insert members not ever reading profiles joke here.* I simply like to be as clear with people as possible.
