Football season has finally kicked off. And with a bang! Well... for the Amber/Jawbs household at least. Miami won their first road opener in 6 years, and Jets lost hardcore and set lots of records for their franchise of how NOT to pay football (go ahead Rex Ryan, make some lame excuses for your team now! Only 6 first downs? Yep, on your way to win the SuperBowl with that, fer sher!) With football Sunday comes yummy game time snacks as well. I actually got some alcohol for the first time in 5 weeks, as well as some mexican food and pizza. Needless to say, I wasn't a happy camper later that night, but it was fun to have something other than potatoes and macaroni and cheese for a change. But now that football is over for the week, back to boring foods for me!
My cupcake bikini and chocolate syrup shower was a blast yesterday. Got rid of my sweet tooth! For anyone who missed it, there are lots of screen caps here >> viewtopic.php?p=18812#p18812 as well as evidence of the BIGGEST TIP I've received since last year! Tomthewolf is clearly awesome and made me giddy for hours even after I logged off camera yesterday. Thank you, Tom!!
This week in TV is huge and I'm excited for it. Big Brother 12 finale is on Wednesday night. Lane and Hayden face off in the last part of the HoH competition, and whoever wins gets to choose who goes to final 2 right then and there. Then the jury votes and we find out who wins the season! Go Lane!!
But before we watch that, Survivor Nicaragua kicks off it's season. I have watched every season except 1 of Survivor. Regardless of what some folks think of the show, or reality TV in general, this has been one long running successful series. Jimmy Johnson is on it this year! It will be old farts vs. young bucks and I'm interested to see the dynamic of each team. It's hard to imagine that the old farts will have any advantages other than just treating each other more maturely, and maybe a bit more brain power to put together a comfortable camp.
Season 3 of Sons of Anarchy is also underway. If anyone hasn't watched this series, I say give it a shot, and give it about 3 or 4 episodes before you pass judgment on it. This group of vigilante bikers will work their way into your heart before you know it. We watched seasons 1 and 2 on DVD and so far season 3 looks to be very action packed. The plot is getting more intense already, and we are only one episode in!
And last but certainly not least... Dexter comes back in just a couple weeks! By far my favorite TV series ever. I absolutely can not wait to see what happens after that cliffhanger they left us with last season. Have you guys seen the trailer for this season? **Warning - the trailer obviously gives away a lot about last season, if you aren't up to date on Dexter and plan to be, skip this video!**

Ok ok... enough about my obsession with TV. I am diddling around on the Internet for the morning, playing a couple puzzle levels on Plants vs. Zombies (I beat the adventure mode, w00t), doing laundry, and hopefully getting on for a regular show on MFC around 2pm today. Somehow I am hanging on to the top 15 still, so I am hoping to keep climbing on up! Thank you to anyone who has had a hand in keeping me up there, as well as a thanks in advance for those of you who contribute to the rest of the month for me. You know I love you all!!
