Post happy things that cheer you up after a bad day.
It can be a short story, a cute photo, or just a suggestion of something that makes you happy to do!

I'll give an example of one or two :)
Some things that make me happy: Mint cocoa on a rainy day, warm showers, skateboarding!

^^here's a cute bunny!

So!

What cheers you up on a bad day?

When I'm feeling grumpy I always look at pictures of corgis & it cheers me up! My favourite is Einstein, who has a Tumblr: http://einsteinthecorgi.tumblr.com/

They regularly take him to corgi meet-ups, where he gets to play with other corgis, like Omelette:

Their lil smiles instantly make me smile.

I also watch my comfort movies; I'm a big movie fan and there's some that just always make me feel relaxed and content. Usually this is Watchmen, Stepbrothers, The Avengers, or a Disney movie, just something I've seen a hundred times that I can zone out on. Plus popcorn because it's my favourite food.

And I'm a big fan of angry napping, or sad napping, because when I wake up, I'm usually cheerful again.

I have a bad habit of cheering myself up by having a go at companies.

Tonight's example was a company that just won't fix their product, and expects everyone to just deal with it. Although I was maybe too harsh when I said that their company had less soul than a white supremacist's record collection...

Thai soup and skittles! (not together... but I can't really knock it til I've tried)
Watching Archer in bed as of April 1st!
Running around the house with my dog threatening to take her Kong.
:-D

What a fantastic thread! I really needed this today :-D

-taking a trip to the comic book shop
-Disney Movies! (I guess this now includes Marvel Avengers Movies & Star Wars now)
-Miyazaki!!!!!!!
-Spam Musubi! (I know, I know, but what can I say I lived with my Grandparents from Hawaii)

I'm pretty sure I'll be posting again in this thread :p

Finding/buying/reading a new book.
Just going to the bookstore to look for new books.
Especially finding latest ones in a series I've read where I didn't know the new one was coming out already.

Oooh I forgot singing Disney songs in the mirror! "Belle" from beauty and the beast is my favorite!

A thousand times yes!

You have no idea how many people come through my room and don't know who he is after making me explain my tattoo about 11 times and oh I'm so happy someone finally does

Re corgis: I also follow Scamp, who has a Tumblr too!
http://scampthecorgi.tumblr.com/

Other things include: sunbathing with Ponyface when the weather is nice, showering in the dark (which I'm told is weird but it's SO relaxing), and naps with my dog Muppet who insists on lounging about with her legs sticking out and steals all the blankets.

When one of my cats purrs in my ear. Gets me every time.
:-D

Cats actually have healing properties!
There are studies out there that show they're great for people healing broken bones and things like that.

Also, they're cute.
Which totally helps.

I think my cat is actually slowly trying to break me down and send me into a turbulent spiral towards insanity, but that's probably a story for another thread.

I really like food, though!

Going to damnyouautocorrect.com. And literally spending hours there laughing until I cry.
Also watching "Ellen" (I swear I'm straight. haha) Ellen cheers me up every time I watch her show.
Some one making me laugh so hard, that my back and mt stomach hurt. Rare moments, but welcomed
moments.
And I love making people laugh and/or smile. That is one of the greatest gifts that I can offer someone.

Speaking of Ellen, has anybody seen this clip? Another cheer up moment, for me.

When one of my kitties does something "grown-up". Frank's 1.5 years, and Oracle's 10 months, but I still think they're babies and get super-duper proud when they learn something or develop a new trait.
