I think there is more to the story than meets the eye candy. If you foolishly wasted your time, that would be me , and watched the interview, you'd out the teacher had already "resigned" at the end of the school year. So she was going to quit teaching to become a full time model in two weeks.

The only impact the firing had on her, was generating some positive publicity which she has certainly taken advantage of, and making her eligible for collecting unemployment for being fired. My bet is she asked the principal to fire her.

She had already handed in her resignation letter weeks before the incident. She alleges that principal asked her for a new resignation letter effectively immediately. This sounds like a PR stunt by a pretty media savvy model. It is hard to fire a school teacher, and virtually impossible to fire one with tenure in Florida. Not sure if she had tenure. I can't imagine any principal going through the hassle of firing somebody if all they have to do to get rid of the teacher is wait for a few weeks. The principal is setting up the school district for a wrongful termination lawsuit, inviting trouble with teachers union. If you ever fired somebody in a large organization, you'd know it is much better to convince them to resign instead of being fired a lot less hassle.
The path of least resistance is to do nothing, especially if the offense is just posing in bikini pictures.

I thought she had the intention of not coming back after this year and knew she would be fired had it been found out what her 2nd job was. Didn't know she resigned then forced to resign again. I don't know how long it takes to make tenure but I want to think you can't get it in your 20s. I'll wait for the other side of the story to drop, granted the longer it takes for the other story to come out the more it comes off like they're trying to get their bullshit story all situated.

My HS biology teacher was in Playboy back when she was in college. The only negative effect that had on the boys was them busting their hump to make better grades for her..... :whistle: -highest ranked bio grades in the district.

Idiotic? Certainly. Sexist? Hard to say. This sort of thing is statistically more likely to happen with a female, sexism or not, simply because, as everyone here knows from the cam business, there is much more demand for female models. If a male teacher posed for one of those Calvin Klein underwear ads, he might get the same treatment. It's not deserved in either case, IMO. I'll grant a lot of reactionary societies are much stricter about revealing female bodies than male. I can't really tell if these guys are like that or simply stupid.
