That's for doctors appointments, imaging, and injections that my half-assed insurance didn't cover, and if I were to have surgery, they'd waive a similar percentage of the cost. I thought I made too much to get financial aid, but I was wrong - I was making $17/hr at an office job when I received this discount, and their maximum to receive assistance is well over that, with the discount scaling to income.

Unfortunately I am in America, and our healthcare system is a disaster - it's almost cheaper to self pay. When I do self pay i get a 50% discount on what the providers charge for insurance....When I had insurance previously it didn't really cover much anyway so I'll still get slammed with a huge expense...that's why I stopped carrying health insurance....

I have tried the second thing and luckily I have a few guys that do what they can to help but they don't have deep pockets and are cool as fuck so I love them to pieces but they can only help so much...but the good majority of them disappear if there is no penetration and I am asking them for help with something that doesn't benefit them....

Alright. I don't know how the system works in America. In Germany, for example, as someone who is self employed, the insurance company gets paid based on the amount I earn. If at the end of the year, I earn more/less than estimated, they either charge a higher fee or reimburse some money. Is there something like this available in America? Maybe a private health insurance? Or even European one that works in the States?

Definitely! I've done it with a dildo too. If I sit down with my legs spread and the laptop facing me, the dildo is pointed straight at the camera, yes? So the viewer can't judge how much of the dildo's gone in, can they? Typically if you make within 200% of the federal poverty level for your household, they'll discount the services 50-100%. If it's under 400% of the federal poverty level, you'll get some sort of discount. You don't have to suffer. As long as you go on a payment plan after the expense and communicate with them, they can't ding your credit score or start collections. Also its open enrollment in November/December. Can always get insurance at that time and start the process of selecting an in network doctor at that time so you are covered by January 1.

I have a really severe issue in my hip joint, and recently changed to doing primarily non dildo penetration shows on SM. Once in a while I will use a dildo, but for the most part, I have to avoid it, until I get adequate treatment (possibly surgery). None of my regs have dropped me for that, bar one (and he wasn't even a high paying, high-frequency reg, so no biggie). I try to explain it before the show, or via message, to the guys I see a lot (just so they have a chance to bail if that's not their thing, or a hard sticking point for them). I am no less busy (when I'm on), and everyone has been total sweethearts about it.

It will be a transitional period for a while and there will be some adjustments, but once things settle you will find you make the same as before... it's good you are looking at other revenue streams too, but don't spread yourself too thin, you want to also keep some time and energy to make the adjustments into your new camming style. TBH, I love a good tease far more than I do an explicit only show. IMO, it's more about the seduction of the mind than it is just simply getting off quickly. Most models can tease. But, it's very rare to find those who can do it exceptionally well. At least to my liking.

The first few weeks were hard, with the change of routine and the style of my shows but a month in - not doing penetration hasn't really hurt me that much - it has actually HELPED!
