I’m new to Stripchat and also new to streaming on mobile. Tonight, I tried streaming for the first time—and it didn’t go well.
I was using the Stream Browser app on my phone, as recommended by Lovense to connect my toys. I chose the “Stream like OBS” function in the app because I used OBS in the past when I streamed from a desktop. But during my stream, I noticed the connection kept going in and out. At one point, it even told me there was a poor connection.
I checked my Wi-Fi speed from the phone I was using, and it showed 260 Mbps for both download and upload—so I know that should be more than enough to stream. I’m also using an iPhone 16, and it’s fully up to date.
While messing around with the app, I started wondering if I was supposed to use the “Stream on Web” option instead of “Stream like OBS.” I even asked ChatGPT (haha, I know it’s not always 100% accurate), and it said the “Stream on Web” function tends to be faster and more stable. It also mentioned that the OBS function could cause connection issues and lagging—which definitely happened to me tonight.
So now I’m wondering—what does everyone else use? Should I have used the “Stream on Web” option instead?
