Stole Picture?

I'm from a writer's forum where a woman online (Robin Cook) has stolen erotica and sold it on Amazon as her own. Her profile picture on Amazon seems to be stolen as well. Someone pointed me to Amber's site.

Trust me, I was irate about it and that was when I deactivated the VIP area for a whole day. No idea how he/she/motherfucker got access.

But, it looks like all the books are being removed from Amazon. I just wish she'd get punished beyond that. And from the sound of many posts on the writing forums, lots of people are probably bothering her on Twitter too, but I see no replies. Asswipecuntdick won't even acknowledge anyone calling her out.

This is easy.Amber check your list of blue usernames not accusing anybody but that's about the only way.

I have to wonder tho.. Literotica does have some decent writers there. How many have done the same thing and sold the works elsewhere without being detected ? I wonder if there are grounds for a possible legal action here that could be a class action of plagerism and profiting financially?

As for using others pics tho... I can pick out quite a few girls on MFC that also use pics "not of them" for their avatars...

Pretty sure there can be legal action pursued, given copyright laws, but it may not be financially worthy of a legal battle. However if enough writers get involved and divide the costs, they could probably damage the bitch enough to shut her down. If Literotica assumes publication rights, they could also have a case.

Not only has she plagerized from writers at Literotica but she has also stolen pics from a vip section of a webcam model and is supposedly using them as her own to gain followers. The model was so upset she shut down her vip section of her website for awhile.

most likely she got that pictures from a legit subscriber to Ambers VIP section.

The VIP section hasn't been open that long right? Less than a year? I know you were aware of her using your images for a while now, so you can rule out anyone who became a VIP after that date. I'd say look for someone you hadn't talked with who became a VIP and never really came back in your room or posted here but I imagine there are a number of people like that, nature of the industry.

I expect it wasn't a VIP who gave them to "her", otherwise they'd have been popping up on other sites. It could just as easily be a guy anyway, the pics are fake, the books were written by others. The fact that the person seems to use images of multiple camgirls suggests they're familiar with these sights and the statistical probability is that would make them male.

The day that I discovered the issue I did just that. But I recognized nearly all the names in the VIP group and really had no proof/justification for banning the few names I wasn't as familiar with after they paid for the access. It's a lot more complicated than just scrolling my finger down a list and going "bam, delete!"

This all happened many months ago by the way. I hadn't thought about it much since then until this thread popped up.

Well the good news is, with all the authors finding their stolen works there etc and people "outing" her on Amazon and Twitter, it would seem the misuse of images will end through her exposure as a plagiarist and fraud.
