Hello everyone,

I own and operate a porn site which targets certain regions (Dubai, GCC countries), I'm planning on launching a livestreaming service and heavily advertise it on my websites.

Since my website is the leading in its category (in those regions) I'm expecting a high turnout of about 600,000 visitors from July 8th (launch date) to August 8th (end of trial launch), but to make the best use of the traffic, I'm looking for a way to properly communicate with models, whom may have some bad experiences in that past which drives them to assume that anyone approaching them with a job offer is actually trying somehow to trick them.

Do you have any advice?

Thanks in advance!

Offer to pay models a rate per hour regardless of how many tokens they make. This will be a guarantee that they wont waste their time on a new site they don't know anything about.

Post the base rate so any interested girls can join but if you are interested in a specific girl approach her personally and offer her a rate tailored to her: the more popular the model the higher the rate should be.

this is so common here tho soooo... :meh:

Scam! I the U.A.E and every single other member of the GCC, pornography is EXTREMELY ILLEGAL!
All pornographic websites are blocked in those nations.
If you're caught watching porn in any of those countries, they will put you in prison and torture you!

That's a pretty big accusation. Just because he tailors to those regions doesn't mean that it's a scam. There's ways of getting around blocked websites in those countries (and in any country) and be incognito so your viewing habits aren't being watched.

True but those same countries also block VPNs. I also doubt that an adult payment processor would accept the currencies of those countries.

Thank you for the clarification. There are indeed plenty of ways to bypass those restrictions, we're in the 21st century and one cannot basically block the flow of information anymore.

Thank you Mila. I do in fact offer a fixed rate per hour. I don't have tipping in my business model.
The rate ranges from $50 to $150 per hour, depending on how much potential the model shows.

You've been watching too much Fox news buddy.
Thank you for your input. For future reference, please don't jump into conclusion and assume you know enough about a person, business or industry when you clearly don't have enough to judge upon.

Some girls might be interested. If there isn't tip based how do models make money? Private shows? Or is it one of those closed sites where the member only sees a profile of the model and you charge by the minute to see her?

It's more of an exclusive club rather than a public show. If a user is interested in a certain model, he can purchase a session and a time and date will be set.

I think that's better for the model herself, as she won't have to waste hours of performance waiting for a tip.

It certainly is illegal to varying extents in the majority of the Middle East and plenty of the rest of the world (I don't really keep track of every time someplace changes their rules). Of course people do still access adult content, which is what your stats show, but you can absolutely go to jail for viewing it, let alone distributing it/creating it (not a problem unless you're actually there, but... probably don't ever visit). Whether it's as likely or common as Guy suggests, I've never really looked into it besides seeing stories pop up for various countries involving someone being lashed etc.

I'm more interested in the other question that was raised... how do you get money out of the members? Are there payment processors that actually accept cards from people in these regions when they're used to pay for adult content? In any case, I wouldn't be comfortable working for a site that specifically targeted that part of the world. I can only imagine it'd be scam/fraud central, just based on the fact that many members would necessarily be breaking at least one law already.

Again, it seems very obvious the effect of the media here. None of those info are actually based on reality.

I won't get into this, as I'm not here to discuss the legality of watching pornography in the GCC.

Please guys, if you don't have an answer to my question, kindly refrain from wasting your time and mine.

I'm sorry, I'm completely wrong. I obviously watch too much Fox News  Porn is totally legal and the fact that certain sites can generally only be accessed though a VPN or other means (themselves of questionable legality) should be of no concern to anyone.

Either way, I think Mila answered your question above?

You could post that information here, which you've done only to a very minimal extent. Posting things here is a very good way to get in touch with models. So is scraping emails from other sites. I get messages about new sites or payment processors all the time. Maybe you've also heard of Twitter. Regardless, I would almost certainly not be interested, myself. Others might be.

You probably should be discussing the legality of pornography in the region you want to cater to, especially if you're targeting western models who may/may not know the legal status of it.

Those who vehemently oppose the first discussion that's poised in regards to their new venture are doomed to fail.

Just to clarify, I really don't care, at least directly, whether it's illegal or not. It's no skin off my back. I know there's plenty of people viewing porn there, and I also know that legal or not it's hiiiiighly unlikely to get in trouble for accessing that content or for using a VPN unless they're out to get you for other reasons. Everyone does it. So there's a potential market there. My concern would be about whether that market can or will pay. Payment processors don't like VPNs in general, and probably aren't real fond of doing business in general with areas where adult content is banned/censored/illegal/what-have-you/any of the above, which is why I asked about that. Given that chargebacks and fraud worry me in general, I would be doubly worried here. So to make a case for such a site, I'd want to see some reassurance that girls would be insulated from that risk. And if you think the media or whatever has misled us, then by all means clear things up, rather than refuse to discuss it at all.

Sorry to waste your time OP and this is just my opinion but you'd be better off trying to get in contact with a few studio owners. Will make your job much easier.

Adult payment processors won't accept payments from countries where porn is banned. This isn't media affecting our opinion. We have had people make accounts here, asking to buy people's MFC accounts or tokens, because MFC won't let them pay because porn is illegal where they live. Many adult sites will let people in those areas create accounts, but they can't purchase credits, because the payment processor won't accept transactions from their country. This means that you marketing specifically to those areas is a huge concern, because how on earth are they going to pay?

You should probably hire someone to do your PR because your tone and impatience is turning everyone off. Look for someone who is less defensive and more sweet. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

How much due dilligence have you put into this? Have you filed, prepared all the legal documents such as model agreement, vetted payment processors, vetted streaming tech solutions, ect?

If you've got all the legal crap, filing, ect. done I'd be willing to CC you on some emails with some tech solutions. Best of all, with some of them you can feature the models on the other networks leveraging the same tech using a revshare system. That prevents you from having a complete ghost town during the initial ribbon-cutting.

Once you've done that due dilligence shoot an email to info@webcamstartup.com

If your site gains traction, down the line if/when there's positive feedback, documentation that you actually pay, ect. feel free to holler at me about promotion.

Oh, and actually, you'd be surprised at how many sites accept models from prohibition companies. Hell, some of the sites will even have sections for models located in countries where technically it's illegal. They have well worded TOS / other policies that state that models / members have to abide by local laws. This removes the legal liability from them as an illegal acts were non-compliant with the use of their product. So, once again, make sure you've got the legal crap figured out too.

But what about the clients in those countries? They would likely chargeback to avoid getting arrested for buying porn.

I don't know enough about the conditions over there to comment on it. I know there's workarounds. There's always workarounds. Whether it's feasible or not is another issue.

Don't know why the OP wouldn't target a global audience. Don't know what the exchange rates look like over there (maybe OP can fill us in) but it seems like targeting USD / Euro would be smarter as well.

I think you're making it a bigger issue than it is. I've known people from the U.A.E that have tipped $1000s and never had any issues. There's ways to get around being caught buying tokens and visiting porn sites.

You might be right. Epoch accepts the currencies of U.A.E, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. https://www.epoch.com/business_services
