Those of you who do this.. any tips for a newbie?
How do you keep track of both rooms with pms coming in and stuff?

Typically split camming is not considered to be a good idea (though there are some situations and people who make it work for them)
What sites are you splitcamming on?

Split camming works after you have been a cam model for awhile. I do split camming but there is some factors that help. I am on mostly PPM and foreign sites. These sites allow for you to split cam without major problems. Also, their customers are more understanding unlike American or free chat site customers. In addition, I learn my multitasking skills as a pso and texter. Do you have great multitasking skills? If not, then hold off to split camming. Also, I am part-time cam model and non-nude domme. Being part-time; split camming helps develop a lot of clients and privates within a short amount of time. Also, being a domme...I do not have to dance around or do things that vanilla cam models do. However, if I am in private...then I put my other cam rooms on hold and notice everyone about my private. If you are great at multitasking than good for it. But if you are not, then stay to one site for now

I would say that split camming on Visit-x and 777 livecams work where together. Warning: These are German sites and you will get tons of European clients. As long as you talked to everyone...than they have no problem with split camming there. 777 livecams is a cheap little cam site but you can always make pay out. Plus, you make tons of money off clips, photos, and phone on both sites. Usually, I would say that pairing Rude.com and Cam Contacts work well together. Both of PPM sites and Rude's customers just wanted to know that you like interacting with them. By the way, always use Rude's chat lobby or voyeur cams to make money there. StripChat and I-friends work well together because guys wait 15 minutes to hear you talk, tip, and take you private within the hour. Usually, my Niteflirt cam/phone account is always on...just in case of a show. I would suggest that you look into these sites and see if they are what you want. Also, I would suggest that you work each one at a time before split camming These always worked for me Good luck.

Mfc is generally not advised to split with, especially if you are new, though you could make it work if you didn't do public countdowns

I do not recommend splitcamming on MFC. MFC is a very, very social site, and given the nature of the beast, it's difficult to focus on two rooms at the same time. Most members, if they find out your splitting, often find it a turn off--those members will often leave your room. I'd recommend you focusing on one room only at any given time.

I have run into more than a few models split camming. I had reached my limit on mfc one day (LONG weekend, LONG story) so I jumped on another site, I want to say it was camster but don't hold me to that... saw the origional model I wanted but couldn't pt with on mfc, plus 2 other models I knew. It is pretty common, from what I have seen, besides that one incident I have seen many models on different sites at the same time. The do just what was said above, once pt, click the cams off for the other site, and have at it. Agencies probably have it all set up to help, shut off switches or whatever. It's all about $ per hour

It's never bothered me when people split cam. The only concern I've had is with reaching goals. if you want to be stealthy, mix your audio so the tip sounds only play on the site the tips come from.

One model I frequent manages it very well. It's barely noticable, like managing PMs. Others, not so much.

My main site is MFC. So like was said above there is a real big social aspect to it. If MFC is your main site, you'd have to be pretty damn good at the multitasking to make it work.
