so um... I was going through my past tweets just now and just came across this:
uhhh... here's one of the original photos I posted as well for reference. These tweets are from january-ish I didn't catch the date in the screen shot. and just deleted them out of a bit of shock.

But how the? What the? I know these particular photos didnt always show up this way!! They even used to have favorites and whatnot... Is this a glitch that changed the photos?? It's quite obviously stretched you can see in the pots in the background

but like wtf?! Did twitter change their settings recently and how long could they have been showing up like this?! :? They're quite obviously only stretched out width wise. I'm viewing it on my laptop but I always do. There's no way that could have been done maliciously either right?! it's not like you can go back and retweet my january tweets. That doesn't even make any sense. SO WEIRD!! I was viewing them on my laptop but I do that all the time... anyways... that was weird. i don't... ughhh... what?!
The way the pics were shot they aren't square obviously so did something happen to stretch your images to show up that way? They weren't showing up like this when originally posted. I only caught it just now though so I have no idea!

All I can really say about it for sure is that it is a site-wide problem that I've heard quite a few people complaining about. It happens in all browsers, so it is most certainly something with the way that twitter displays the pictures. It seems really strange to me that such an obvious and global problem wasn't immediately rectified, but I've been noticing this for several days at least... very... very... strange :shifty:

yeah, this is totally happening to me too. the only thing i've noticed is that it's only on photos that are portrait rather than landscape, if that makes sense. the actual tweets are fine though, it's just on profiles!

Is it only on twitter.com? Because i haven't noticed any problem using tweetdeck through chrome nor tweetcaster on the tablets.

Yeah I was on twitter.com. I haven't used tweetdeck in a few days...but I guess it's when you scan over the pictures in someone's profile page. So you'd only notice it on twitter.com
And It was only happening on these two pics for me so it weirded me out a bit.

At least it's not just me I thought it was something I did.

Lol on the upside your jugs look MAHOOSIVE! :D But yeah that really sucks, but it's fortunately pretty obvious that the pictures have accidentally stretched out and you haven't just somehow managed to lose a fuck load of weight and shorten your arms and make yourself taller. Another bonus is at least you know you'd still be hot if you gained weight and got really short!
Weird twitter glitch I guess, I don't have anything particularly constructive to say other than that unfortunately as I have never encountered this issue before. I doubt it's something malicious though and more a twitter fuck up.

Too late to edit but the same thing seems to have happened on loads of people's accounts including mine on some photos. I've reported it to twitter, it's clearly a fault on their side.
