Something I've never seen before on CB (scam?)

I dropped a complimentary comment on a reasonably high-traffic room. A few minutes later I clicked the "send tip" to find my popup-window pre-filled with this (!)



For the techies here, maybe it's one of their running apps listed below that is sketchy?

DJ Lovense Tip Goal, The Menu, Roll The Dice, My Lucky Number, Make It Rain/Snow, Fan Club

I've noted some apps make tip menu items clickable; is it possible you clicked on that particular one unintentionally?

Try going back to the room and clicking only the tip button and see if it happens again

I can confirm that this is what causes it. I just tried it in multiple rooms with different tip menu apps and the clickable items will display a message in the tip notes for what is tipped for. Clicking on the tip button will keep the amount from the previous tip but will not have a tip note shown

I don't think it's the cause in my case.

As an experiment I tried it again (clicking Send Tip) but from a private session browser, and using a burner gray account.

First time was a normal dialog (i.e non-prefilled), second time was the following.

I wonder if one of those apps is buggy, and sporadically using a mouseover event, instead of a click event, to do the pre-filling...

I just tested in that room and when I click the green tip button it's default blank message with 25 token tip.
If I then click a tip menu item from in the chat, it does what you are describing, so you must keep clicking that surely.

I even refreshed the page while the tip menu price and item were in the tip box and it reverted back to blank/25.

I was pretty sure I'd clicked only the Send Tip button. But just now tried again a few dozen times without a problem, so maybe it was in fact my sketchy clicking
