Who got spoilt shitless? Who got a lump of coal? (that's still a thing, right?)

I was fortunate enough to recieve some pretty sweet shit this year...

Uncharted 3 and Skyrim on PS3, Super 8 and a geeky wrestling documentary on Blu Ray, and a sexy, sexy Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream box set.

A desk top drum kit(!), guitar bag, and guitar "first aid kit" (extra strings, picks, tuner, capo, strap, chord and scales cards, cleaning cloth etc).

A sweet-ass case for my iPhone that makes it look like an an old cassette tape. Clearly, cassette tapes are infinitely cooler than dumb iPhones.

Also got some clothes, a Transformers annual (I'm 27, mother!), chocolates, more socks than any one person will ever need, some hair products, deodorants and Police aftershave, some Fruit Loops (living in England, these things are an acceptable and awesome gift), two cases of beer (still have one left!) and a scratch card (didn't win).

That iPhone case looks very cool. Cassette tapes are the shit, anyway. I sometimes still listen to my old tapes with songs that I recorded off the radio in the 90s.

Santa brought Sadie a waterbowl. That was about the extent of our Christmas stuff this year aside from spending time with my parents day before Christmas eve. My sister made me some picture frames but I haven't taken any pictues of those.

Since my job officially ends Jan 1st, my dad told me I didn't have to pay him back for some work he had done on my house. That was really nice of him. That was the extent of Christmas this year. Without knowing what my situation will be in the short term, we did not want to spend, nor did we want more stuff given to us that may need to be packed up for a move or sold.
I'm going to be positive though. I think the next year may provide some good things because of this.

We have a similar situation in my house so we made a challenge to see if we could get all of our presents for free or make them from things we already had. We mostly just ended up spending time together and telling bad jokes. Spending time with my family before my dad and brother ship out on my birthday is the best present I've gotten in years.

Clothes, money and a book titled Demongelic: A Deal With Devils written and illustrated, and personally signed to me by local author Bradley Pennell. I glanced through the opening acknowledgements and it turns out three of the teachers who helped him with the book taught me in high school.
