Most women that I see will make their selection for a mod based on how often a regular comes to their room and tips. If they do it (come and tip) "enough" (different with each model) then the model more often than not will make that person a moderator. Which is fine, the person clearly enjoys the woman.

However, does a moderator NEED to be someone who can tip often; someone who can tip at all, or can he/she be someone that never tips BUT knows what they are doing for that model?

Of course the "what they are doing" is very subjective based on what the model likes, hates, her/his rules, etc.
Some models love a moderator to constantly be pushing the "tip" images and aspect, whilst others only want it every now and again.

But so long as the moderator is great with that model, do they NEED to tip to try get other people tipping?
I understand some folk see the moderator not tipping and get discouraged, or they go as far as to say something along the lines as "when you tip I will" or "take your own advice" etc

I used to be a decent tipper for the select few models I enjoyed but circumstances changed and I haven't been able to buy tokens for about 10 months. I was mod for a few models who are the type that makes everyone that tips them XX a mod, they soon dropped me, but theer is one in particular who I absolutely adore and I have modded for over 1 year. So she has seen me as a big tipper and now as a none tipper. However, me and her get on fantastic, I know what she likes/hates, wants/doesn't... you know, all of that. I don't spam stuff and I don't just silence because someone says "hello" (lol).

So what is YOUR personal opinion and how do you give a moderator that status? Are they someone you can enjoy their company of daily, do they need to be a tipper, must they at least be able tip a tiny bit? What do you think on this? And what comebacks do you have if you're not one who cares about if the mod has tokens, and then a user will say "tip first and I will" to your mod?

Sorry, pointless lengthy post haha

If I was a tipper in a room, and the mod never tipped I would probably eventually leave that room out of pure annoyance.

I don't like having mods or room helpers myself, so my opinions aren't worth a lot I'm sure but room cheerleaders who don't support the room themselves even a tiny bit are toxic IMO and only piss off tippers.

In my opinion room helpers are really only needed if the model is doing a show or is otherwise occupied and there happen to be a lot of trolls. They can silence, ban, kick what have you since the model has her hands full and doesn't have to kill the mood by stopping to handle trolls. And having basics\guests muted from the get go is good troll prevention.

Outside of that, the helpers are members in the room just like any other meaning they should engage to keep the room lively and tip for the time spent or items from the menu they want to see.

I've seen some people in that role act a little too controlling and it is a turn off. And in my experience tipping to get the room contributing toward a countdown is much more effective than just posting gifs in chat saying tip her guys.

I agree. There is a guy who mods consistently for one popular model and even occasionally for other models. He is a good moderator, a nice guy, and even use to be active on ACF, but he never tips because he's "too poor". I'm sure that both he and the model feel like that's how he contributes to her room, and if it works for her that's cool. But prior to talking to the guy, it really did annoy me. I believe they know each other outside of MFC, and understand that she trusts him. Still, I'm guessing she's lost some tippers by not explaining the situation.

I was given the mod status once. I'm not sure why. She is funny and knows I hate that authority stuff so it was fun to tip her to have it taken away. Not sure why anyone would want to do a moderator thing if they didn't have to do it.

Apologies as this this is a 'ask-a-model' and I am not one.

I'm not a model but my opinion is that you should consider being a mod just as a priviledge that model(s) may give you and for whatever reason take you away. I don't get what is the problem.

Being a model, I feel like it would come down to not necessarily if the mod is a big tipper, but that they help you make more tips. They could be a high tipper but don't help very much by modding. Or they could hardly tip, but you still benefit from having them mod for you. When I first started off, our second moderator was a decent tipper, however, he gave us incredible advice, promoted us on his social media, would engage with us during awkward silences, introduced us to many more followers/high tippers, etc. Having a moderator in your rooms should be beneficial and not necessarily tip focussed.

I quoted this part, because this is something I would not be okay with. I don't have a room moderator and can't see myself ever wanting one. But if I did, I wouldn't want him/her thinking it's okay to "never tip" just because they have 'moderator' status. That wouldn't sit well with me, since he/she is right there in my chatroom watching me work, just like everyone else. Next they're gonna be expecting free raffle entries. Lol.

Unless I do a complicated ticket show (which happens max once a year) and I can't use my mouse and/or keyboard I don't see the need for a moderator at all. What can mods really do? Spam the chat with "tip me" gifs? I find it annoying and i'm sure many users see it the same way. Also it creates two classes of users and I don't want that. Luckily the user who gave me some great advice and tips me well sees it the same way and doesn't even want to be mod.

If someone really needs the red user name as an ego boost and he encourages tips for the models in chat, he definitely HAS to tip too or it will piss off users for sure. I might be radical here but also a mod who says "thanks" (even worse with a "thank you" gif) after every tip is total no go. Users didn't tip the mod, they tipped the model, she should say thanks and not the mod.

So again, from my point of view, mods are just not necessary.

I find being able to tip one of essential aspects of moderating, wether to advance a tipgoal a bit further in order to entice more tipping from other users or when communicating, while the model I moderate for is doing a show and I need to convey a message I wouldn't dream to pm and interrupt the show's flow, tipnote is best and hence requires ability to tip.

Most mods I have seen are annoying. Really the only utility I could see is in a very busy room to answer some basic questions and help direct the chat in the right direction. Being a mod at most is a supporting role that if done properly should be barely noticed by any other members in the room. I can imagine being a mod that actually adds value to a room is not easy and to date I have never seen anyone do it well.

I can't imagine anyone has ever tipped because a mod said "Come on guys too her, she is beautiful....Show her some love guys.... Tip for the show guys...".

Right, members complain and get offended if the models themselves say this stuff too blatantly or too often. I can't imagine some other dude telling them the same things gets a better reaction. :haha:

Some room need mod for help to Fake tip activate people to tip her
Notice you can not read mod bio because he hide for tip bottom. It is can receive for model
So.. do not upset when your mod did not tip you a lot like some room because Maybe that Just Fake tip

I really hate the concept of mods on camsites (at least on MFC). I don't understand why a member would want to be a mod to begin with. I don't understand the appeal in essentially paying to do part of someone else's job for them. I understand why a model would want to make her life a little easier (I wish people would volunteer to do the parts of my job that I don't like) but for every mod working silently behind the scenes to ensure a model's show runs smoothly, there's a half dozen cheerleading sycophants on a mini power-trip getting in the way of the rest of the room's enjoyment, placing a needless buffer between the model and the other members.
