Is anybody watching this show as well? I missed it tonight on TLC but it is on again at midnight! What do you think of the show? I think it's a weird culture they live/have lived, but im open minded and accepting of other people so I don't think badly of them. My favourite people on the show is Abe and Rebecca, they are a cute couple

I just started watching it about 2 weeks ago, and I'm already addicted! I DVR'd a marathon, so I was able to watch all of the previous episodes.

I like all of the characters for different reasons. I didn't know much about Amish people before other than that they didn't use electricity, drive cars, etc. I originally thought it was more of a lifestyle choice rather than a religious one. It's neat to see how differently they live their lives from "English" people.

I think it's funny that they call us "English people," (I know it's because we speak English instead of Dutch) since a large percentage of us aren't actually from England.
