I REALLY do not like the banner. It's off putting. I also hate the background on your website. Honestly, maybe a better webpage would help, but I doubt it.

I thought this was going to be about cake. :(

I do not see anything in that blurb, that makes your site look better for members or revolutionary.

Also, the background on the site is like cheap satin or something, not velvet...lol
It looks exactly like the fuzzy wall paper that adorned the walls of the lounge at the ultra cheese, now no more, Mustang Ranch in Nevada. Same 60s paisley pattern cut out in relief, or is the fuzzy the bit that is in relief? That one always confuses me.

Or at least it looks exactly like what I have seen in pictures of the place. :)

Just like mom use to make... caramel icing and broken pecans.

Mom was a deviant .... her mom taught her the traditional buttercream icing .....

This thread has taken a turn for the better and made me very hungry for sweets. I was eating a slice of cheese when I opened it, so I was immune to that.

I'm not so interested in red velvet cake of any kind, but I like mandarin orange cake with cream cheese frosting. I'll share with everyone!!

I NEEEEED the recipe for these!!!! Give, NAO!!!! :D

Ingredients

1 tablespoon unsalted butter, for pan

Red Velvet Brownie Layer:

1 stick unsalted butter
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup cocoa powder
Pinch salt
1 tablespoon red food coloring
1 teaspoon vinegar
2 eggs
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup chopped toasted walnuts

Cream Cheese Layer:

8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
Special equipment: 8 by 8-inch baking pan

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Butter an 8 by 8-inch baking pan, and set aside.

Brownie layer: In a saucepan on medium heat melt the butter. Remove the butter to a large bowl and add the sugar, vanilla, cocoa powder, salt, food coloring, and vinegar, in that order, mixing between additions. Whisk the eggs in a small bowl and stir it into the cocoa mix. Fold in the flour until lightly combined. Stir in the walnuts and pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, saving 1/4 cup of the batter for the top.

Cream cheese layer: Blend together the cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla in a medium bowl. Gently spread the cream cheese layer on top of the brownie batter in the pan. Dollop the remaining brownie batter over the cream cheese layer. Using a skewer or the tip of a knife, drag the tip through the cream cheese mixture to create a swirl pattern. Bake the brownies for 30 minutes. Remove to a cooling rack and allow them to cool completely before cutting.

Yay, thank you!!! :D

Now I just need to convert it into measurements that make sense :p

I Am a Fan of Red Velvet Cake. There is nothing like the Opportunity to enjoy a Juicy Moist slice. I also enjoy when Camming Website Spammers on the WorldWideWeb have no idea how to use The English language. It is pretty Distracting and Sketchy.

1. Site doesn't even load
2. Whois reveals "privacy protect". I don't think I've ever seen a legit company hide behind such services, only individuals (quite legitimately for individuals!).

Guessing this one won't even last a week :D
