I've always wondered, when models go and rent houses and do there taxes, do you tell the land lord or tax lady/man that you are a webcam girl? If you do, what reactions have you gotten?

My landlord literally did not say anything about it or seem to care. Just looked at my paystubs and approved me. Although he was pretty excited that my cat poops in the toilet (landlords love this for some reason).

Shouldnt this be under ask a model? I really doubt revealing camming to someone leads to a porno-like scenario and most professionals or landlords know better than to sexually harass their customers.

Also the tax people kind of have to know what you do- unless you don't like writing things off or you enjoy committing fraud. :lol:

I am still trying to figure out how to use this thread. I'm sorta new here, so sorry lol. I didn't know there was a section like that. I wasn't thinking porno scenario ahahahaha. I was just wondering if they get shocked or, give you the devil look because they go to church on sundays lol.

There are two routes to go: Lie and say you do something else and just let them go on paystubs, or tell them and let the chips fall as they may. Personally, I'm a 'freelance editor' with the paystubs to back up my independent contractor status, and none of my landlords have ever questioned my occupation after seeing my proof of income. The guy who does my taxes specializes in camgirls/adult entertainers, so no issues there, and Uncle Sam only cares that I pay all my taxes, not that I'm a camgirl.
