Rating of Model

Rating of models is a very important thing, after every show the model doesn't know what kind of rating the user has given the model,
StripChat is upgrading almost daily. Is it possible to launch this system?

I'll second this. (I'm not a model so maybe models can give their opinion)

I think it would be useful feedback for models to actually see the ratings and comments we make after a private show, but also *who* has made those comments so if anyone is being a jerk they can choose to ban or refuse future private shows should they so desire.

Currently it appears that, apart from the rating going towards the model's 90 day average private show rating, our comments and ratings just go straight to SC's version of /dev/null

I wouldn't particularly care about the rating comments at all. I don't have (and I assume many models dont) the time to go through them and read it all.

If a member enjoyed a pvt they will probably give me 5 stars and tell me it was great during the show or after it.
If a member was rude, didn't like it, or whatever negative I'm probably getting a shit rating and he will never ask for a pvt again.

I would actually like to see the ratings as well, a while back, my private show rating dropped suddenly from 5 to 4.8 and I had perceived no negative experiences… also there are some less stable (Shall we say) users that will act aggressive/negative in one private and then be fawning over you the next day & take you pvt again so it would be good to know if the ratings you are receiving or not matching up with your perception of the show or how to avoid users that may negatively affect you intentionally or otherwise

This is an interesting topic and has come up once before.

I can see a few comments already but I welcome all other models and users to give us more information about why you be for or against seeing the ratings/comments after private shows.

I think private show ratings are pretty good at the moment. I do sometimes have problems when a user will ask for something I don't offer in private and they get very disappointed and end the private show as soon as I set my boundaries; which is probably why I get a few unsatisfied scores. Its very obvious what the model offers when you click the private show button because you can see a full list of things they would do in the show. I usually ask that the user PMs me beforehand to go over what they are interested in for private, but not every user respects those wishes and will start a private with no information on what they'd like to see.

I believe that many users want privacy so the rating being anonymous is good for them, but I get users that ask for something like full or hardcore anal; which I do not offer in any of my shows. I tell them "I'm sorry I'm not comfortable doing that and don't offer it in my shows" and they end the show right then. I believe those users most likely give me an unsatisfied rating. Same for users that ask for something that's against the rules (but most of the time if they ask for something against the rules I warn them or report & ban them) I'm not sure of a solution for this but, I hope the feedback is helpful!

If you also are thinking about making a public show rating, I would only add that option for people who have tipped a certain amount.

Just my opinion, but I do not see any use for allowing users to rate a model's public show. And can imagine some users abusing such a system with spurious "bad" ratings.

If there is a comment box that all users can see which contains the comments & rating of previous users,
Then new users in the model room Get them an idea of that model.
That would be great for the model.

Not really, because of the dicks and scumbags who would post negative things just because the model didn't do something they wanted (even though the model may not do that "thing" as part of their show).

Or because some users are just arseholes who like to abuse models.

Generally I think that if a "feature" can be abused by users to negatively impact on models and their rooms, then:

• it *will* be abused by some
• so it should *not* be implemented by the site

Wayyyy back in the foggy misty days of 2010, MFC used to have a feature where members could add a rating to a private show after it was over and also add a few sentences of comments. However, I had heard that it was being abused by too many toolbags. They were asking models for things which were not discussed prior to the private or were looking to have the models do stuff which was either not in their repertoire or which featured on the zero tolerance list.

When models refused to comply with these "requests" during the show, the members then gave the models a low rating and a bad review. Somewhere in autumn 2011 the feature was dropped by MFC. I believe this was due to model complaints about being ambushed by the members dodgy requests once the private had started and they were hacked off with the bad reviews left by the toolbags.

Shitty members will be shitty members!

I suggested this before, and I suggested allowing it to be up to the INDIVIDUAL model for which option she wants, and she can change it whenever she wants.
I think that would always be the best, but I do agree that it should be based only on private shows not tip x to leave one, we see how badly that is on chaturbate

As a user, I really wouldn't pay any attention to other's reviews of a model - their stated *opinion* would not influence me to stay or move on.
That would entirely depend on the model and my own experience in that room.

Hi! I might have read this original thread wrong with my response… We are already rated on our private shows, and I would like to see who is giving us what rating on private shows, but I think rating models and public shows in general is a horrible idea… Just to clarify

I am pretty sure you read the thread correctly, someone definitely suggested rating of public shows. (yes, a terrible idea!)
