Hey ACF Fam! I have a question that has been on my mind for a few weeks and would love to get some insight and opinions. I am a new model on SM and have been camming for going on a month. I love camming and feel like SM was the perfect site for me to start on, but one thing I’ve noticed is the alarming rate of raceplay requests that I receive during my shifts. Let me start by saying that I am very aware I fulfill a very specific niche for my clients; I am black, petite, tattooed/pierced, wear my natural hair, etc. I’m not sure if it’s the site’s demographics but a majority of my clients are Caucasian males, both young & old. Even when I post that I don’t engage in race play I still have clients that will ask and I can’t help but to feel some type of way. For me it’s a self-respect thing. I want clients that like me for me, not ones that want to degrade and objectify me in order to fulfill their twisted white supremacy fantasy. While I have no issue rejecting the requests (and most people are very polite when I tell them no) I am aware that I could be making more money if I accepted these requests.

I guess my question is ladies, what are your thoughts on race play and how have you handled requests in the past? Also if anyone is brave enough, I’d love to hear about the motivations when requesting raceplay and how it shapes your opinion of the model. I understand that it’s typically WOC that deal with this but all opinions and responses are welcome!

I don't do humiliation raceplay, no mater the race. My raceplay shows are pretty timid. If I'm ever uncomfortable during a show, I will stop. I do however require c2c for any raceplay. And they must tell me exactly what they want. if they want me to say specific things, they must tell me. The person must be the race they are having me focus on. I have had too many flat out racist requests. Had to end shows or reject because I have had suspicions the person was pretending to be a specific race when they sound like a white racist boomer.

I refuse to do it, even if it's the guy wanting ME to degrade HIM. I'm not comfortable with it, and I think that if something makes you that uncomfortable, it's not worth it to do it (even if you could use the money). There are plenty of other guys who will spend on you to do things you are comfortable with. That's why I'm too nervous to take raceplay requests! I'm always worried someone will record it and post it online out of context. I don't necessarily think raceplay is always problematic (though it very very very much depends on the circumstances and who's asking) but I'm not comfortable with there being footage of me engaging in it potentially floating around.

When I get race play requests, I either flat-out say no or ask them to go into more detail on what they want me to say. There's some guys who ask for race play that just want you to play into their interracial fetish, which in my opinion, is harmless as long as they don't plan on anything disrespectful being said during the show.
If you don't feel comfortable doing race play, set your boundaries & stick to them! I promise there will be men who respect that, and it'll save your mental health in the long run.

My only advice:

*If it makes you feel bad but you need the money, do it in a way that you profit off your pain and feel really good about your work ethic when you cuddle all those paid bills at night (read this as UPCHARGE!!!!!!!). *If it makes you feel bad but you don't need the money, find a way to enjoy tearing those mother fuckers apart.

*If it makes you feel bad but you don't want to lose customers, find a clever way to reject those asking or ways you can engage in this fetish without participating in the parts that make you feel uncomfortable.

*If it makes you feel bad and you do care about losing customers, quietly ban and move on.

This generally applies to any fetish, but certain niches can really get us pigeonholed into a rock and a hard place morally. There's no easy answer for this, but my bottom line has always been survive, thrive, then deny what I can afford to.
