Payouts to Canada? The best options, how do the various wire transfers work?

I live in Canada and am very confused with the current payout options and associated fees. It's been many years since I cammed.
I'm looking mainly at StripChat and LiveJasmin.

I'm not comprehending how the WebMoney and Paxum systems work and the fees.
Is there a thread about these systems here?
International Wire Transfers? When I asked about these years ago, the sites and the banks could never give me the cost of these up front so they said it would be a surprise and possibly hundreds of dollars for a single transfer.
StripChat has a VISA option?
Why can't sites send out checks like they did long ago. *sigh*

Paxum does not offer payout to Credit cards for people in Canada. And it's virtually impossible to find what fees are associated with a Local Bank Transfer / EFT. I am traumatized by previous issues getting paid out. I mean sure I could just gamble and take the risk that I'll work for a month and never be able to get my money or only 1/2. What a nightmare, why don't these sites explain anything? I google and I find almost no information in regards to Canada.

I'm Canadian as well and I find the best thing to do is cut out the middle man (Paxum etc) as much as possible! I have my regular Canadian bank account and I also have an American bank account made through a Canadian bank and I get all of my payments sent to there as often as I can. It takes less worry/effort about getting your money from point A to point B to point C. The fees for EFTs are generally pretty low. Most sites can either do EFT to your Canadian bank account or direct deposit to an American through a Canadian bank option.

You don't need to travel to the U.S. to make an account. I have an American account with RBC which didn't require me to be in the U.S. to open. I couldn't use it with Chaturbate as they also required a U.S. address, but it worked for me on Camsoda, so your mileage may vary.

Stripchat does offer International Wire Transfer yes. It's a $500 minimum payout though and gets paid out every 2 weeks instead of every week. It should be free though which is neat.
They have a bunch of alternate options as well though. Paxum, COSMO, Yoursafe, Crypto, Visa etc...

Of these alternate options free deposits are available for YourSafe & COSMO. They each have there own additional fees though so be aware of that.

If you just want something setup quick if u have a VISA card u can use that alongside International Wire Transfers. The fees for VISA card aren't too bad (2.5%) but scale quite high for larger amounts of money.

If u can open an account with RBC though as @Nigerian Prince says this is gonna make your life a lot easier because most Cam Sites have a free or cheap ACH payment option in US dollars with a low minimum payout.

I can't say. I've never had issues with transfers from Stripchat and Chaturbate in the UK but I am using SEPA payouts instead of Wire Transfer. If a payment isn't sent it should be returned to your Stripchat account but this might take quite a while you never really know.

I didn't know about the VISA transfers. Once you sign up to Stripchat you will be able to see the options you have available. I had the option to use it in the UK but Canada may be different.

Honestly I would be very wary of Livejasmin anyway. Data from readysetcam suggests the amount you will likely earn is abysmally low: https://readysetcam.com/blogs/camming-101/how-much-do-cam-girls-make, they have a very low rating on Wecamgirls: https://www.wecamgirls.com/reviews/livejasmin/ and like Bongacams they are happy to fine Models hundreds of dollars for what should be small violations like accidentally advertising on your profile or having a pet on stream by accident.

Most other cam sites offer better Canadian payout options. Livejasmin and Stripchat are owned by EU companies so naturally their payout options are sparse. Virtually every other site either has an option to receive USD checks to Canada or a lower minimum payout threshold for Wire Transfers.

Finally Paxum for Stripchat isn't necessarily a bad option. They offer EFT transfers to Canadian Banks for $8.95 which is the same amount I pay for SEPA payouts for Chaturbate. Stripchat does have a $1 extra fee for Paxum though so i guess that turns into $9.95. That's not terrible but there might still be better solutions you can switch to in the future. Crypto is always an option as well. I've used it for a couple sites but it's a bit tricky to setup and easy to get wrong. I don't know anything about COSMO to comment but it's likely fine. Just check they offer EFT transfers to Canada for a reasonable price and don't charge a fee to hold an account.

TLDR​

Don't worry too much about your payout options. You will find one that works and be able to compare them after you sign up. Maybe re-consider joining Livejasmin and looking for sites that offer better Canadian payout options though & have a larger Canadian and American audience.
