Outdoor caming mishaps

I was outside caming yesterday, doing me best with the CB disconnecting me, and ruing the room count (at least half of the room vanishes every time I get randomly disconnected). I live in what you call the Valley of the Wind, it is ALWAYS blowing here, and days the wind doesn't blow is more unusual. This gust came, and I ran over to my laptop so it wouldn't get blown off the table, then a whirlwind formed around me. There was a rotating column of live oak leaves that then moved down the pasture.

Depends how you are connecting the laptop.
Are you using a cable or wi-fi ?
Also are you aware on CB you have to provide photographic proof that where you cam from on your property is not overlooked by neighbouring property's ?
