I am looking to play some older RPGs the new ones now adays dont see to hold my attention as well so i am looking for ROMs for older RPG games. Anyone have a suggestion?

Secret of Mana is rad. Actually, any RPG on SNES is good.

Try out GoodOldGames.com. They have a ton of older computer games that you just can find or run on modern pcs. They have updated them to where they work on Visa and Windows 7. Heres a link to their RPG game selection:http://www.gog.com/en/search/sort/genre/rpg

Also, can't go wrong with Ultima 6, 7, or 8. You can find emulators for all of them if your internet is skrong.

Lunar: The Silver Star
Phantasy Star III: Generations of Doom

loved them.

Star Ocean: 2

HOTUD.com (home of the underdogs) is a good site for old games.
They actually just re-re-re-released Lunar, this time for the PSP. Beating it... again.

some good recommendations here already. If you prefer action RPGs (no waiting during fights) then there are the staples such as Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore (both on SNES), Star Ocean (PS1), Grandia (PS1) and of course Diablo. If you don't mind turn based combat then some of the others mentioned here are good too. FF6 (FF3 US), Chrono Trigger, Earthbound, Fallout 1/2, Baldur's Gate (this is technically a hybrid of turn-based and real-time I think, never played it myself).

That about covers what I know of the genre from back then. I'm sure there are some good ones I missed.

You'd think I could list a ton off no problem since that's about all I play.
Septera Core was fun.
Super Mario RPG (it's by Squaresoft)
Legend of Mana games. (There's a lot, Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore, and a ton more)
Fallout games were my favorites as a kid.
X-COM games are awesome, but are strat games (but your characters stat up and such).
This is where I go to find out about older games. Usually have reviews, box art, and where possible, downloads or links to buy or download. http://www.hotud.org/rpg/menu/page:1/limit:10/
