OBS help pleaseee! :)

I’ve seen loads of threads on it and honestly it just hurts my head OBS can’t find my graphics card (well it does on Linux’s but rather use windows 11) but I do have a i7 8core processor, will this be enough for OBS? I also have 16 threads or will I need to a laptop with a newer graphics card and use the graphics encoder rather then the processor? I hope this makes sense because to me it does and doesn’t

yes you can use software encoding just fine with an i7 8 core....8 cores i believe is a 9th gen or higher processor.

What graphics card is it that you have in the computer?
