Ok I'll try not to ramble too much, and get straight to the point.
I have 2 webcams. The Brio, and the Logitech c920.
Right now I mainly stream on SM w the Brio, but there is a lot of light sensitivity and visual noise, which annoys me. I have to constantly be adjusting lights, and I can't move too much or it gets really visually noisy. Although I finally have a Brio from a good batch, that doesn't have an autofocus defect, so yay for that part. The one I had prior definitely had a focus defect, and worked nothing like this one.
However, I prefer my C920, when I run it through OBS, to do a little color correction etc.
My problem is, streamate is not recognizing OBS virtual cam, as an option, at all. I streamed with OBS virtual cam in the past (on SM), and never had an issue. But it's not even showing up as an option under camera (for either external encoder, or web encoder). Did I forget a setting or something? SM won't detect OBS virtual cam on either explorer nor chrome, for me.
I'm open to non-models answering this too, but only people w OBS streaming experience, since I don't want to turn this into a pointless, tedious investigative Q and A. Where we waste time reinventing the wheel together. Twice in the past I DMd with members who offered to help (on tech issues), and it was a huge waste of time. They were just prying, and had no real knowledge above the very basics, anyone could look up. So I guess it was self-important save a ho in distress shit, which completely wasted my time. Members with direct OBS streaming experience and knowledge, are welcome to answer though. As is the guy, who sometimes pops on with the in depth camera tips (maskedsissyslut).
