Non-sexual cam site?

I'm not really sure how to describe what I am looking for, but basically, I'm looking for a site that's more about talking, and sort of imitating a relationship as opposed to sex. Sort of like some kind of "girlfriend experience", everything from conversation to whispering sweet nothings.

To make a long story short as to why: 1) I'm trying to stop watching porn, and with my experience with porn I've found that's really less about sex, but more about making some kind of pseudo-connection. 2) To help build my self-confidence with women.

I've been doing some googling and haven't found anything, but did stumble across this site with some similar questions about finding specific cam sites, so I figured why not ask.

Well, there are a lot of non-nude myfreecams models. If you're just wanting to hang out and talk to ladies and the members that frequent their rooms. I'm sure even lots of nude models on there (or really any cam site) would be happy to just sit and talk with you in a private show.
If you're wanting something more one-on-one without so much token-per-minute pressure maybe try cammodeldirectory. I'm fairly certain you'd be able to find lots of models on there willing to do hangout shows with you as well.

I'm not aware of any strictly gfe-based sites though, sorry.

There are very few models as far as I know that are willing to offer 'the girlfriend experience'. On the other hand, most camsites do have non-nude models / sections of non-nude models.

I think you're going at this from the completely wrong angle. Skip the camsite environment all together. The solution to your needs has been around for quite some time. Penpals.

You can either go the traditional hand writing route or expand it into the modern email/skype methods pretty quick after finding people who are open to video chatting as well as writing.

theres camming options, but also chatting and exchanging pictures, similar to texting and it's mobile friendly. when you first interact it's not like the girl is live speaking so can be less intimidating. work up to what you want or chat about it first.

The cam-site experience is going to be inherently sexual It's baked into the business model.

So if you are trying got avoid porn, then logging onto a cam site is not really in line with at goal.

But let's assume that you still see cam sites as a solution to your specific want.

MFC, because of it's design is probably best suited from the cam sites to provide you with a model that you can enjoy 'talking with' and getting the intimate aspects that you seem to desire. You indicate a desire for 'connectivity' rather then sexual arousal. And this can truly be found, though rarely if ever in it's pure form.

Lots of models form very personal interactions with their regulars. Talk about their lives, ask what is new, share jokes, stories etc as part of their main chat personality. And many of them care about those members. You'll need to experiment with spending time in rooms to see how a room 'feels'. This is mostly going to involve you seeing a lot of 'porn content' as nudity and shows will flow in and thru the conversation of models.

Awe! I personally love "just chatting" and do that for most of my privates/true privates and Skype dates (for raffle winners). I myself would love a "girl friend experience" like site, where I could be successful. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a big enough market for it to make an entire caming site of it AND where the models would be successful. MyFreeCams seems to be the closest to this in that there are a handful of girls that offer this but they usually do it along side teasing or other kinds of shows.

I actually like the pen pal idea and feel that's as close of a match and you'll get unless you're okay with going to an adult site that's mostly nudity and pornography focused.
