I’m surprised by this,Guy. Being on this forum/interacting with the adult industry and seeing people state their random preferences has taught me anyone can get off to anything. Not everything is about sex, or sex-related. Believe it or not, it is a major accomplishment for models to be selected for it and even more so to be the cover model. Many of whom in years past have become major names.
May not have the allure that it once did, given there's so many other high level things a model can do. But, it still gets media coverage when it comes out, which is more than can be said about most other things.

Don't believe me that it will follow almost that exact chain of events? Fine, go to google and search for any variation of: Formula 1 to discontinue the use of grid girls from 2018 on. Same thing, in the F1 case, the frivolous thing that nobody actually gave a shit about suddenly becomes a low-brow cause célèbre when the management realizes that they can save some money and get the activists off of their backs by scrapping the pretty girl window dressing and man-children interpret it as an attack on their "values" caused by liberal feminists.
At the end of the day, keep it, scrap it, makes no difference to me, I've never bought a copy of the thing anyway, I have the internet for all of my mammary pictorial needs.

If I'm not mistaken, didn't Playboy try and change from nude models to more of a Maxim style of pictorals? I seem to recall someting being said about that. Though, unsure if it was a joke/hoax or if they did it and went back to nude.
SI's swimsuit model is their biggest selling issue of every year since it was first done. I have a difficult time believing tht they'd kill their cash-cow.

They did it for like one issue with Halsey as the cover girl, then said they weren't selling enough, and pretty sure they went back to nude immediately after.
It wasn't so immediate. They kept it up for a year or so, before coming to their senses. Halsey was actually a cover girl after they'd gone back to the traditional format featuring nudity.
