New Model Status on MFC

How long does New Model Status last for on MFC? I came across something recently that said it lasted for a certain number of days. But everyone on here says it lasts for a number of broadcasting hours. Which is it? I plan on signing up once I move. I just would like to know if I will have time to get verified here, search through models only, personalize my profile, etc. Without having to worry about wasting my new model status....

The clock starts on your new model status once you start your first broadcast. So as long as you haven't broadcast your cam yet, you'll have all the time you need to do that stuff before your new model status ends.

It used to be 10 hours of broadcasting time. Now it's a preference option for the viewers. They can choose from 3, 7, 14, 30, 60, or 90 days (days start counting from your first broadcast). I think the default is 7 days now. So if you cam for one day for only 2 hours during that week, or if you cam everyday for 20 hours each day, it doesn't matter. Still will show as a "new model."

Okay. So it doesn't start the count until my first broadcast? That's nice to know. I can still get everything sorted out and get everything figured out before I do my first show. Thank you everyone!
