I understand that the mentioning of dating sites or forums sounds bad, I think I didnt`t expressed myself properly. We do not want to catfish anyone, we do not promise dates. In fact we do not even send likes or get matched. But posting a photo on Tinder or other similar sites with a domain name on the photo (like watch my photos here: www.xy.com), may violates the rules of Tinder a bit, but do not promise any false hope to the user: its clear what is that ad for. And yes, it can bring you further customers, as the audience of dating apps and webcam sites has a huge part in common.

Similar for forums. There are online forums with topics such as "My Pussy", "My tits" where people post photos of their body, or often only parts of their body without faces getting recognizable. And others visiting these forums not to hope IRL meetups with those girls, but to see nice boobs and pussies. People create dating profiles to... date. Or hookup or with some intentions on meeting in person. By creating an account for a performer on any dating site with the sole intention of driving traffic to their camming/clip site you’re already being dishonest, even if you never talk to them, because it is, in fact, giving dudes false hope by just having an existing profile in a place where people go to date. It also puts models at risk in a variety of ways. Especially since most sites don’t allow any sort of talk about meeting up in person since FOSTA/SESTA and it can literally get a person banned from their site. Also, blatantly saying you’re willing to violate the rules of a site does not invoke trust.

However, media hacks and guerilla marketing is a legit method of online (and offline) advertising. Established Hollywood studios have used Tinder and set upa profile for a movie character for promotional reasons, and a car manufacturers did the same on Happn. Anyone with an IQ over 50 will understand by the first sight what is it about, but even the rest wont get hurted, simply keep browsing.... I don`t say that you have to like the idea, but its nothing like being the Devil.

Even if you weren't breaking the tos of the dating sites and potentially putting models at risk or at the very least being annoyed by dudes looking to meet in person, this isn't a good marketing technique.

Just because it will drive traffic to the model's site doesn't mean that it will be paid traffic. The majority of guys on dating sites are not looking to spend money on cam models. If they are going to spend money it will be to take a girl out on a date irl. Views don't mean a damn thing if you're not making money, unless of course it's to a place like Pornhub, and I'm positive dropping Pornhub links on any dating profile will get the account banned pretty quick.

Also, it's just a really bad look. I sometimes get those "Hey bb check out my pofile" messages on my PS4 account and on the profile it's a link with "check out mi sexii pics".
