As
@AmberCutie stated, Game Crush was a site a while back that tried something very similar to what you're talking about. As a gamer myself, I was so happy and was among the first models on the site. Let me tell you, it sucked. It very quickly turned into more of a cam site atmosphere where the guys were just getting "shows" from girls and the girls were advertising tips for nude flashes and what have you. The gaming aspect seemed more like the ice breaker as oppose to it being an awesome way to connect with people and get paid to game. The site got worse and worse (I believe they even took payment away completely and replaced it with an in-site currency that you could use to buy items within their store). Suffice it to say, it failed.
Twitch.tv, in my opinion, is the default for any serious gamers that want to try to game for money. However, very few people do well and it is mostly treated as a hobby. As a side note, from my personal experience on Twitch, the trolls there are even worse than MFC, especially for female gamers. I'm talking... wearing a low cut shirt that exposes any cleavage and you're automatically a "slut". Back on track, there's a much lower chance of being successful enough on Twitch to pay your bills than it is to start on a cam site and be able to pay your bills (regardless of if you're a top model or not).
As other girls have stated, it's best to throw in a few game streams on MFC as a fun way to show off your personality and connect with other gamers but it certainly should not be the focus of your room. I also tried a gamer-related thing, a while back, on my own MFC. As a gamer, with a gamer name (from FFXIV), I attract a lot of gamers and it's a big way I connect with people in my room. I had a "Gamer's Club" every Sunday for 200 tokens per session (150 if tipped offline). It didn't last more than 2 months because the interest just wasn't strong enough to justify missing an entire shift to play games with everyone. I had a few people that would show up to play but I had many people not show up, only show up part of the time, or claim they wanted to do it but never did end up getting it, etc.
Which all concludes to this: As much as guys go crazy about gaming and how it's so great if you (as a girl) are a gamer too... they're not that excited to actually compensate you for your gaming time. Guys just seem to value what's offered on cam site's (along the lines of nudity/sexuality/intimacy) more than what is offered on a gaming site (along the lines of playing the same game together/watching you play a video game).
Either way, game on! ^_^ Gamer powaa!
