I know that there is a trillion forums on this, but on MFC my new model week just ran out, and now I can't get ANYONE in my rooms. I just stayed online for two hours with less than 10 people. (This is the 2nd show where its happened) Its not from a lack of trying. How do I make myself stand out and make people stay?? What do you do when you can't get anyone in your room to start with? Also - what time do you think MFC gets the most traffic ?

I'm sorry, dear, but if you know that there are "a trillion forums on this," then why are you expecting any different response? If all those other models have asked the same thing, and the advice given to them hasn't helped you, then why are you expecting this thread to generate some kind of magical solution?
I highly suggest reading through all the other threads about traffic times, ways to get people in your room/tipping, and games to play on cam. Consistency is the number one piece of advice we can give. Pick a schedule and stick to it. Other than that, just read everything that you can on this forum. Then try different things. Camming is not for everyone. Some people just don't have what it takes (whether it's the patience/thick skin/people skills). But no one is going to plop the answer to success in your lap. You're going to have to do the research yourself to find out what works for you.
For MFC, it appears that most traffic is for evenings EST. However, more models are on at that time.
One of the simplest things you can do it make your profile icon that displays on the MFC main page as distinctive and unique as possible. Ideally it should show viewers your face and be clear and sharp. An icon that stands out, and is well designed in composition can generate a bit more traffic from people scanning the page.
