I see pretty much everyone has MFC in their signature (for obvious reasons), lots of CB links, a couple clips4sale links (which isnt a cam program), and not much else. I don't see much about Streammate or any other other of the larger cam modeling sites really being discussed. Is that because you all know each other from MFC or is there another reason behind this? What makes MFC and Chaturbate that much better than Jasmin, StreamMate, MyFreeCams, etc?

I would actually say that Streamate probably is the 2nd most common camsite that ACF models use, followed by Chaturbate. They could be tied, I'm not as familiar with Chaturbate, but Streamate is extremely popular. It is also discussed quite a lot, there are many threads dedicated just to Streamate and each of the most popular sites. Part of why Chaturbate is popular is because it's similar to MFC without the pressure of camscore.PornHowTo said:

You're also only going to see a fraction of what we really discuss because most of the sort of "business" talk about camsites is in the Models Only section so just because they aren't being mentioned out here in the public section, doesn't mean they aren't being discussed. The Cam Girl Wiki can help you out, too.

I personally prefer MFC. But that's what I started with. I've entered Chaturbate for the first night two nights again and had over 600 viewers but the vibe was very different than MFC. I think it's definitely more of preference. I find MFC viewers connect and like to conversate with you vs Chaturbate where viewers just kinda want to watch you sex it up non-stop. That's just my opinion.

I picked MFC because I want to like my "job". I can't fake 17 orgasms a day. Or even 5. I also don't think I would make any real money on other sites only getting off once a night....and hanging out the rest.
There are however models that don't like the "social" aspect of MFC...or the contact off site...like snap/kik/etc. For those people I assume things like goldshows make more sense. Log on..get it done...get off cam and not think about it until they log on the next time.
I just personally believe that on no other site do you really have the potential to "move up" like on MFC.

I disagree with CB being all about 'sexing it up'. I always hangout in my room.
I personally haven't started camming on MFC, but I will try it soon. MFC is the site that appeals to me mainly because there are larger tips, and the platform just makes it look luxurious? I want to say. It just has a brand feel.

When I started my first night in Chaturbate the top annoying remark was "you're like the only girl on the first page without your shirt off or playing with yourself" it got so annoying and I had to constantly repeat myself that I don't start on cam naked and do such things... If you'd like to see that from me then tips are welcome. With 600+ people in there and hearing that maybe every few minutes it just made ME personally feel that way. Don't get me wrong I had lots of people tipping for what I posted in my topic because they enjoyed the tease but in MFC the viewers are not constantly being rude and saying the same thing over and over again they always respect my rules and if they don't they just leave there's never nasty comments said. I love MFC the only difficult issue is the traffic at normal times. I have to wait to get on until after very late because all the top models are always on in the early evening which makes me exhausted when I work at 9AM

That's such a good point of view! Because it makes total sense that's what I think. You gain relations with your viewers which at first when I started wasn't planning on doing buttttttttt by doing that you are semi guaranteed tips every time you log on or if you go sometime without tips you know your regulars will tip so your score doesn't skyrocket down! As for the offline interaction I think it's awesome because you're teasing throughout the day so they'll NEED to see you when you log on that night!
I prefer CB, mostly because I love to chill and on MFC I felt like I couldn't do that because of the cam score issue. I'm an explicit model, but not a "get on naked and throw my vagina in yo face" model. I do cum shows, but 90% of my time online is in tease and playful mode. I enjoy the interaction more than anything which is why I've stuck with CB.
I found this site from looking up questions and always seeing this as one of the first ones lol, but I've noticed a lot of models in general who do CB have also done MFC. I've only been on mfc for like four days now but it seems an easy switch between them. Like, so far they're very similar except for the added stress of camscores (which keeps dropping > : o) and the people seem.. more conversational? Idk but like I had a regular or two and the random passerby on CB who was sort of witty and kept conversations going and was rather. Well it was like talking to a friend if that makes sense lol except I didn't know them. But on MFC there are tons of them! Maybe that's because I only allow premiums but woah lol. Less people but more talking. I started rambling lol but yes they are very similar to each other, if you've tried one you've probably at least tried the other. I wouldn't say any of them are "better" but they're all very different except for those two, like switching between SM and CB is like walking into a completely different job almost
I'm curious about this too. I'm going to try chaturbate in a few days here because I like the idea of a similar site WITHOUT the camscore - its kinda bogus honestly. I hope I do well. =] Sounds like an easier transition from what I've read though which is WHY I'm so curious -- and almost better to lots of models. I want to see for myself.
