MFC SLOW

Has camming been slow for anyone the last two months with the cost of everything going up? Its been really slow for me on mfc probably the slowest ive ever seen it within my two years on there. Im not sure if it is just me or the economy.

Im on cb but for me may was the slowest month from year also. On mfc im new- i mean old account but started broadcasting on tuesday and first day was wow- 4000 tokens but from one man, after that is realy really really slow,but same i have on chaturbate.

The economy in general is slowing down all over the world. For the last decade, central banks have had zero or even negative interest rates, but now they have to increase them to combat the rising inflation which means homeowners will have to spend more money on paying mortgages, and the money they have is worth less. Energy and fuel prices have gone up, which also increases the price of certain goods. People are going to have less money to spend on entertainment going forward and the trend is likely going to continue until at least 2024.

Summer is a slow time to begin with, kids home, less time to watch cams.. same with holiday season.... then vacations etc.. I lost 60 OF followers this month, happens every yr... lol Then this year with gas prices being so insane yeah, even less disposable income. i was doing ubereats as a side gig now it doesnt even pay to leave the house. Big recession coming within next yr which I dread.. like others have suggested in other threads u really gotta work social media hard and keep your big tippers happy, and go to multiple platforms. and if u can find ppl to collab with thats a biggie. Group shows draw $$

Summer is slower in general as everyone is out and about. Only summer that was crazy good for me was 2020. I usually plan ahead and save for the leaner months since I travel a bunch too or have fewer hours to cam since schools are out.

Usually sex related industries are pretty recession proof. Tons of new models joined in covid so there's a huge influx of models taking what little traffic there is in the summer. It'll be harder for new models to gain traction but established models with a solid group of tippers are usually ok if they keep things interesting. My month earlier has been pretty slow but picked up past few days. Miiigght have had a bit of a cry myself before that haha.

it's been the most slow summer for me so far. I wouldn't mind people not tipping but the people not talking is killing me. Doing long hours in dead silence is really fucking me up mentally. I tried changing up my shows but that usually only attracts freeloaders. I keep going back online hoping it will pick up but it's really not worth it at this point.

Another problem is the price of the dollar. It's currently more than the Euro which makes buying tokens for Europeans very expensive.
It doesn't hurt myself too much yet, but I can imagine it is for many.

It's been super slow for me and this summer has been a huge struggle in many ways partially bc I tried to finally cam f/t after 2 yrs. I knew from reading on here that summer would be bad but not this bad. Interviewing now for shitty jobs that I know I'll hate lol but this is just not worth my mental health. Many nights I think I'd make more $ sitting on the corner fully clothed begging for change! Hope things will pick up in Sept/Oct and I can at least make some extra cash from camming but never trying it f/t again. Wishing you better luck!

Yup, my internet is about to get cut off in a few days. I think about all the time and effort I've put into MFC...with hardly anything to show for it. And it makes me regret the fact that I've been neglecting other work from home jobs that I could have been doing instead of entertaining members in free chat for nothing.

It’s possible to remain full time, but you need savings to eat into when there’s dips. And the dips are deeper and harder than precovid.

Hopefully it picks up in Oct, but with inflation still ongoing, seems unlikely.
