I was wondering how the friendslist works for any of you models. For me, a member, I essentially use it as a handy favorites list; it's just more convenient than the other function to add favorites to your homepage/profile, which I never even bother to activate. I can pretty much be in my favorite girls' rooms the instance they log on, before they even turn the cam on. It's useful. But what about when we become "mutuals," and the model adds a member as a friend?

Recently, I was accused by a model of leaving her room to see someone else. Ignoring the clingyness, what really bothered me about it was that... it was completely not true! MFC had some sort of problem, which it typically does, and I got sent to the Homepage. I assumed that happen to everyone(she froze up a minute or so before), because if the problems are only on the model's end, you, the premium member, don't get kicked out of the room. I took the opportunity to just go to bed, and got off MFC, but to complete shock I log on the next day and see this unsavory PM. Can models see what room a member is in, or has been in recently, if they're on their friendslist? And if that's the case, how did it screw up so badly to say I went to someone else's room?

There is a sliiiight chance the model was playfully teasing/joking, considering I'm one of her regulars who left after maybe ten or 15 minutes, and without saying goodbye, but... this did not feel like it. Very confusing!

No, we cannot see this. She should have been able to see that you're not online anymore.
A member can leave a room without an explanation and they don't owe it to the model to tell her why they left, even though of course common decency dictates that you at least say some form of goodbye before leaving if you spent some time talking to her in her room.
You got kicked out, it was just unfortunate. But the model saw that you weren't even online anymore (rather than being online but not in her room), so she could probably figure out that something technical happened in your case. She had absolutely no reason to accuse you of anything.
Even if you hadn't gotten kicked out, and just decided to see someone else now, she shouldn't have sent you a PM like that. It's obviously your right to visit whichever model you want to. You're on MFC for your own entertainment. As I said, it's normal to say goodbye before, but you really don't owe anyone anything.

There used to be a feature that displayed the room you were in. It showed on your profile. Not sure if it is still active, but I found the setting while checking some profile options.

Show the "Where on Site" field on my profile page [ ] Yes [ ] No

I'm pretty sure that never displayed what room you are in, just if you were online or in private/group.

Thank you all, she was very specific... That I left to watch someone shove a dildo up her ass. I guess she was joking. I don't ever "log out" of MFC, actually, I just close the tab in my browser and I have it remember my name/password. So maybe it didn't log me out automatically, she noticed my account was still "online" but not in her room, and she made a bad assumption?

There is actually a bug that shows people in our friend list as online when they have logged off. I've been doing my best to help one of the admins fix it on the MWB but it's hard to reproduce the bug, apparently.

A very very long time ago this feature did actually work, it displayed on a person's profile at the top. I used it when I hung out on my premium account all the time to find where my BFF was hanging out so I could drop in and perv with him. But it has been ages since it worked.

Life lesson learned is when someone you know virtually, casually like that, gives you shit be grateful you found out sooner than later and you can find someone who won't give you the agita we so often get in real life

It is possible she spied on you as a guest (if you were actually in another room). The circle of models I visit is fairly small and most of the prems all know each other. And from that the models often know of each other as well. A couple months ago a model pmed me to say she was "very disappointed" in my because she saw me tip another model. She was there as a guest. Ignored her and moved on. I do not owe anybody an explanation of how I spend my money.

Please shout this from the rafters so that all models can hear it--I got dressed down by a model for supposedly being online and not in her room when I wasn't anywhere near MFC. I assumed there must be some kind of bug. (And that it might be in her head--I unfriended her). Another time, one of my friends was on Twitter complaining about how many of her friends were online but not in her room. I thought "well, glad she doesn't mean me." But now I think she probably did. Again, I wasn't on MFC at the time.

I think I would be getting new model friends if they were complaining about that. I do not ask models not see other people, and would expect them to give me the same courtesy.

I always get that when I have 2 or more tabs open. As long as I type something in any secondary tab then the original tab will show people online even after they have logged off. And that happens always.

Using Firefox, not sure if that would happen with other browsers
