This problem started late last week. During evenings, my connection to MFC has been utterly horrendous. Before that, things were quite manageable. A handful of rooms would lag, but a few refreshes would solve the problem. Now, literally (and I genuinely mean it when I say literally) every room stutters terribly. Every single one (2-4 seconds of lag for every 1-2 seconds of smoothness). Out of curiosity, I accessed Chaturbate and Streamate during the same hours I access MFC, and those sites ran just fine. I've got a 25/5 Verizon FIOS connection, wired/ethernet desktop, 4gigs RAM, i5 Quad-core CPU at 2.67Ghz, and Windows 7 pro. Anyone know what on earth is happening?
On a sidenote, you know how Streamate does a line-speed test when you log in? The cams run perfectly smooth, but during evenings it often shows the speed hovering below a paltry 2 to 3Mbps! But when I go to speedtest.net it's always displayed around the correct 25Mbps. Interesting...
