Here's where I get iffy -- if a menu has 30 lines of items and it's a listicle, who isn't going to nope out of that when it pushes 30 lines of chat off?I always like to read the menus, the order doesn't really matter to me but I do find that a list layout (1 item per line) seems easier to read than when they are in a block like a paragraph, multiple items per line.
{Edit to add: I do understand that the way CB has recently condensed tip menus in the chat to just a few lines, even though you can click to expand, might make it better to use multiple items per line to get more of the menu visible}
Sometimes I think that having the items listed in ascending order of token value is logical, but I also wonder if perhaps some viewers stop reading any further when they get to the point that exceeds what they're usually willing to drop in one hit?
Agree. The rotation style would probably work best, but even then, busy chat might still push it up the page before everything got a view.Here's where I get iffy -- if a menu has 30 lines of items and it's a listicle, who isn't going to nope out of that when it pushes 30 lines of chat off?
I have it set to on entry everyone gets a menu sent to them. Maybe I should just let it hang like that and stop posting the menu in chat? Also seems counter-intuitive. But I do have separators between items on the paragraph style. And everything is a clickable link.Agree. I can really see the conflict - too many items and it may not be viewed, too few and you get hit with many requests.
I'm also a numerically-driven/focused person when it comes to stuff like this. I have 50 tokens, what costs 50 tokens? Don't make me look through a disjointed menu to find out what that item is.I pretty much agree with Rod on this, except I do like seeing them in order from lowest to highest token price.
I’m just one of those people that likes things numerically or alphabetically organized. Can’t really explain it. In this case, numerically seems to make sense.
I agree but I don't like tip menus filled with junk you know what I mean? Like they thought of 4 things and then thought they needed to fill all the boxes so they put a bunch of misc things like smile cheer lick lips etc etcI pretty much agree with Rod on this, except I do like seeing them in order from lowest to highest token price.

Wow. That's...like, look. We get a lot of tip notes that say things like "I want to tip you but not for that." "How much for lipstick?" "What about pantyhose?" "Do you just ever lick your lips and close your eyes?" Man I'd tip you all day long for an eye fucking of epic proportion so on and so on.I agree but I don't like tip menus filled with junk you know what I mean? When I said filled I meant filled filled like the menu comes up and that's all you see until you click.It's nice to incorporate non-nude, non-explicit items into a menu. You have to grease our wheels too...or you're gonna get that super robotic ten-yard stare from a lot of models.
Wouldn't that be nice or even a step further like a little table.@cexmental
Hey, hey...question for you. I don't usually invoke you for stuff like this, but is there a way to format the menu a bit better, like one would with a word document? Left, Center, Right..
Maybe a compromise would be to set it up so that a couple of menu items appeared in the chat at regular intervals, along with a clickable link to the full menu, to send it to anyone who wanted to see it again.I have it set to on entry everyone gets a menu sent to them. Maybe I should just let it hang like that and stop posting the menu in chat? Also seems counter-intuitive. But I do have separators between items on the paragraph style. Unfortunately, we really don't get to pick the way that goes down, but I understand what you're saying.When I said filled I meant filled filled like the menu comes up and that's all you see until you click.

You can do that. I do it all the time on CB. I was testing font colors and menu configurations the entire time I was posting here and camming.I would love it if the menu could sit in a separate tab to the chat, available to open anytime, keeping it off the chat all together.
Chat / PM / Users/ Tip Menu
Doesn't answer your question though but threw in my two cents anyway.
I meant here, like on the chat window itself! Every room would come with one more tab there to see their menu without it being displayed on the chat. Does that make sense?You can do that. Ooooh yes!!!! I see, yes that would be great. I was still on the broadcaster side of the equation on that, not the viewer. Thanks for explaining.I meant here, like on the chat window itself! One can dream, right?
Great idea ^I would love it if the menu could sit in a separate tab to the chat, available to open anytime, keeping it off the chat all together.
