So Im trying to pick some things out for my husband for Christmas (Yes I shop early, lol) and since I dont play league of legends I have to wonder if these are good options to get him or if anyone has experience with these...or some suggestions :)

A couple mouses Im trying to decide between:

http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G500-Pro ... AX2475N3E9

http://www.amazon.com/Razer-League-Lege ... BT7EYHINBM

A keyboard I was thinking of getting him but its not available on amazon anymore, so suggestions for gaming keyboards?

http://www.amazon.com/Inland-USB-Gaming ... 4GSQ6ODHVT

And a mousepad

http://www.amazon.com/SteelSeries-QcK-G ... HIIJUV78GJ

Basically I just want to get him a nice little set up since he does a lot of pc gaming.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated :)

If he has really big hands, I'd suggest the Logitech G500 over the Razer. I own both and find the Razer small for my hand. I also like the button placement for the index finger on the Logitech. If his hands aren't too big, the Razer should be fine.

The G510 keyboard from Logitech is my preferred one because of the programmable keys. Then again, keyboards are pricey and don't break easily, and I haven't tried a lot of different ones. Other people like mechanical keyboards for the clicky, more responsive keys. That part is a really personal preference, and there are also Cherry keyboards, which some people swear by.

I use a rigid mouse pad, but don't have a real preference. This is the one I use. It has two sides. One for precision, and the other for speed.

Still loving this mouse after about 8 months now. 6 of the 7 buttons are fully programmable. Macros can be made for any game. Great resolution settings that can be cycled through at the click of a button.

Note: I Don't recommend the skilled keyboard anymore. Good enough design but they used cheap letter stickers on the keys. So half of them are worn away.

That's a complaint I've read about keyboards that puzzles me. Do people really need to see the letters on the keys they use most? I mean, of course it's a flaw, but by the time I'd have worn out the graphics on keys, I like to think I'd have memorized them.

My HP keyboard I had prior to buying the Skiller lasted 12 years. And technically it was just sitting in the corner still working fine after I bought the new one. (I've since brought it back in action for a Linux computer build so now it's still in use) The Skiller keyboard first had a letter wear off around 5 weeks after buying it. No I tend to think that's sub-standard quality.

And not every one can touch type. A lot of people still have to hunt and peck. Occasionally, when I'm eating pizza with one hand and have to type with just the other, I have to hunt and peck too since i'm not use to typing on the 'other' side of the keyboard with my free hand.
