Logitech Orbit quickcam with Windows 7

Hope someone in here could help me with a little problem

Modelfriend of mine got the Orbit cam, but can't get it t run with windows 7.
I've already skimmed through a few tech forums, tried the logitech webcam software 1.1 for windows 7 but that also won't work...

Anyone got some experience with that cam and windows 7 ?

is it windows 7 home or premium and if it doesnt work try putting it in another usb port and also dont use firefox with it try google chrome or safari browser those will work best right now with it
