For cam models, it's more like the last chance to stop ISP from messing up your profits/bushiness.

If ISP get to charge more, you will need to pay more to be able to stream. And your viewers are going to need to pay more to view you. And your choice of websites.. well they to will need to pay more. You paying more, your customers paying more, the websites paying more, it's all going to cut into your profit.

Worst case, ISP could choose to block and or cripple a site completely. They may decide they don't want cam sites on their network. Or they may decide they only want to allow their cam site that splits the profits between you and the ISP.

Considering what's happening over at the EPA. I'm fairly sure all this public outreach will be written off as 'bots' and they'll make whatever decision they want anyways. They just all use the 'fake news' label to ignore public outcry.

Agree. On the FCC site where you can leave public comments, they had a disclaimer that basically boiled down to "we give zero fucks about your personal opinions, and we'll only be considering comments that provide business/economic rationale and hard statistics."

I attempted to make a comment to the FCC about how the loss of net neutrality could cause porn and cute animal videos to buffer. I argued that if both animal videos and porn were to load slowly, 100% of the American population would be unhappy. Everyone likes animal videos and/or porn. I lightly suggested that it doesn't behoove the leaders of this country to allow the entire population to become just a bit more discontent than they already are, so they should ensure that animal videos and porn continue to stream as smoothly as all the other content on the internet.

While I thought my argument was humorous, rational, and completely relevant, the FCC blocked it and silenced my opinion. I wrote another comment that was dry and vanilla, which they did allow me to post, but I have no confidence that they'll take it into account.
